What TV show have you seen recently ? Episode one

I started watching The Last Dance recently I’m on episode 8 now. Been a great walk down memory lane with players I haven’t thought about in years. Watching this now knowing all I know over decades of the NBA…. safe to say MJ > LeBron lol

Reservation Dogs already renewed for season two 😁

From Deadline - "
Reservation Dogs Bear, Elora, Cheese and Willie will return for even more shenanigans on the reservation as FXhas renewed the comedy co-created by Sterlin Harjo and Taika Waititi for Season 2. The sophomore season of Reservation Dogs is set to land in 2022.

The series stars D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Paulina Alexis, Devery Jacbos and Lane Factor as a group of Indigenous teenagers in rural Okmulgee, Oklahoma, who steal, rob and save in order to get to the exotic, mysterious and faraway land of California.

The first season, which currently touts a 100% Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes and was Deadline’s Show You Have To Watch back on August 3, also garnered positive reviews and social media buzz upon its debut in August. Vikings season 5 - Good. But the Ivar stuff needed an ending.

Damn you're binging this eh? It gets better again ( I keep saying that)

I "think" there is a part 2 of season 6 yet to come and then that's it (I could be wrong) stay with it. It's a darned good show (I'm sure you've mostly enjoyed it)

And if you need more high quality Viking stuff, try The Last Kingdom, which sort of comes from that era but extends a bit later, and more from the English side of it.

And then you'll just be burnt out on the Viking thing.

I just discovered Norsemen on Netflix which basically makes fun of all this stuff Monty Python style haha. I'm enjoying it.

So I guess I got into Money Heist at just the right time. It's been out for years and has 4 "parts", I finished up the whole series on Wednesday and was like "crap what do I watch now?" (Lupin is up next) and bam, part 5 of Money Heist drops 2 days later. Really enjoying it :)

I'm already nearing the end of season 6 and it has 20 episodes so I doubt there is any more to come.

It just feels like they ran out of ideas and dragged the Ivar stuff out too long.

Well today I learned that part 2 released at the end of 2020. Guess I have some Vikings to watch :)

Vikings season 6 - Was ok.

Vikings Seasons 1-6 - Overall a good show. The first 3 n half seasons were great. The last 2 n half seasons are a bit of a mixed bag.

Now on to Ozark.

We picked back up where we left off last night in early season 4. Would like to finally finish it since season 6 hit Hulu.

Squid Game

This Korean show has been trending pretty hard on Twitter plus it has been number one on Netflix since it dropped a few days ago and now I see why. I really really like it. Each episode is about a hour long and you will definitely know if you like it by the end of the first episode.

Finished Squid Game. Loved it. It's still number one on Netflix after a full week. It still trends strongly every night on Twitter from what I've seen.

Its a bonafide hit.

Idk what Japan is doing because I can't name one movie or show, that's non-animated, that is close to being as good as some of the stuff coming out of Korea.

Watched first episode of Foundation and although the production value is very high, VFX, the sets, costumes etc all excellent, it bored me to tears. None of the characters are appealing.
Dont think I’ll watch another one unless someone tells me it gets amazing!

At some point I'm going to have to break down and have my wife subscribe to Apple+ for a week so I can see this (and we can watch the Snoopy show). The source material just doesn't really fit a TV series format, so this might actually be a good thing if that's the reaction. :)
