What TV show have you seen recently ? Episode one

Better Call Saul is back.

Oh yeah!

Watched a "show" called Taboo, Tom Hardy (he and his father, brother too? wrote it) I really enjoyed it. But treat it as a mini-series because it's only one season and frankly didn't need another to be satisfying.

It is getting another season.

Better Call Saul (Season 5) - Great

Anybody know if AMC+, or whatever it is, keeps all episodes for season up so I can subscribe for one month and binge the final season?

Just saw on the news that Netflix stocks dove 25%?

Went and had a thought about that.......

Cancelled!

What's even in the pipeline with Netflix? Another season of Stranger Things?

I like having Netflix because you just pull it up and there's probably something you want to watch if you're bored. I haven't been able to find much lately. I've seen all that s*** Netflix.

Just thought I'd join in and pile on. Save myself $18 a month (no I will not be buying a Big Mac Meal with that!)

There's a final season? 6 just started, so this is the last one?

I doubt it. That "show" reminds me of "the Terror" which was apparently gonna get another season, also didn't need another one. It told the story and very well.

Still no word on another. It's a mini-series and worth watching.

edit: OMG, they actually filmed a second season of The Terror, why? Ok, I guess I should step off the internet now.

The Terror was a one and done, it was never getting an actual sequel. It was going to be part of an American Horror Stories-esque anthology, though. The second season of that anthology aired like 4 years ago called The Terror:Infamy.

Yeah I saw that afterwards.

Why?

The Terror is actually really awesome (and terrifying) because it actually happened.

They actually found those ships not long after that series aired. Or at least one of them.

Taboo is completely made up yet based on real stuff. It's an enjoyable mini-series. I don't need to see what happens next with that, same with The Terror.

It's like they leave these shows open ended by calling them seasons, just in case they can milk that cow a little more.

Season 2 is based on real events too.

Taboo was always meant to have multiple seasons.

That's what I did with the first one. I watched it week to week when it aired originally and just fell off after. Watched a YouTube recap and just dove in.

Ozark

Binged the final 7 episodes, after it released yesterday. It was great but the last episode is definitely going to be a topic of discussion.

I don't know what would have been satisfying but that wasn't it.

Ultimately it was an enjoyable show that thought it was a show comparable to Breaking Bad or The Shield but it wasn't.

Yeah I'm on the fence about the last episode. Going to wait for the media commentary to start rolling to get a good look at where people's heads are at.

Stranger Things Season 3 - Ok. Not as good as the previous 2 seasons and kinda feels like a worse re-imagining of season 2 at times.

Ozark Complete Season 4 - That is the ending they are going with? Really? Another quality show with a poor ending.

Well I don't want to know.

Holy crap this is hard to stop watching.

I still have several episodes to go.

Really good show, but maybe that ending will disappoint? Like I say, don't want to know, just saying I'm glued to this final stretch.
