What TV show have you seen recently ? Episode one

Not saw it mentioned but I think Hannibal deserves a shout. I think it is one of the best tv shows I have seen. Mads and Hugh are great.

I'm am intrigued with this show and Season 1 bookended well with the Hobbs story arc. Last 2 episodes were very good. Looking forward to Season 2.

Looking forward to the Dexter finale tonight. Hope it's epic.

I'll have to check out some of the series you and others are mentioning. Like you, I watch too much TV, but part of that is because it's gotten so much better in the last decade. I don't feel like I'm (entirely) wasting my time anymore.

I agree, "Longmire" was pretty good. There was only one season on Netflix, so I hope there is more. My only gripe was that between Walt Longmire and the Lou Diamond Philips character, there was an awful lot of "strong, silent type" stuff going on. I guess that's part of the Western mystique, though.

I keep hearing good things about "House of Cards," but it's hard for me to get into political dramas. I'll have to give it a shot, though.

I ended up purchasing the second season of "Longmire" from Amazon and felt the second season was even better, more character development and a little bit more personality from Longmire and the Lou Diamond Philips character, but yes, both very much the strong silent types! "House of Cards" I was hesitant too because it was a political drama but the acting and story line are top notch that the political stuff just seems like a back drop to the awesome characters/actors and their performances.

Been watching a LOT of Netflix while I wait for the fall TV season to start (SHIELD YAY!).

Buffy/Angel/Firefly. I watch these three almost all year round. I don't know what it is about these shows but I can watch them over and over and over again and never get bored or tired of watching them, even the bad episodes.
Revolution (pretty fun show that's "post apoc" but not nearly as dark as Walking Dead).
Haven. This is a second chance viewing and I'm really glad I've stuck with it. I'm in the last half of season 3 and it is now one of my favorite (recent) genre procedurals.

I didn't think the ending of Dexter was as terrible as a lot of people are making it out to be.
Please people, did you want a happy ending? That would have been 1000x worse.

Yes I wanted another shot of Hannah naked. Is that too much to ask?

Watching Breaking Bad and Dexter (that reminds me I have a lot to catch up on Dexter, think I only seen half of the last season sow far). I think will come back to this thread when I have watched finished Dexter, just sow I`m sure I am gone read into the spoilers.
Also Watching Game of Thrones.

Saw the season premiere of China, IL on [adultswim]. Very funny show and good animation, although I wasn't a fan of so many students having speaking roles. I think the show is at it's funniest when the students are more of a backdrop.

No.

They spent 3-4 season toying with the idea that Dexter is/can be more . That he can feel and control his needs and dark passenger. Only to then turn round in the last 15 minutes and say nah, can't happen.

The demise of Debra was also very poor.

Did I want a happy ending, No, but they could have done much better than this. Why not have had saxon kill them all. Why not have had Dexter lose it and end up on Death row.
I just found how it ended very anticlimactic and disappointing.

just watching sons of anarchy season 5 and some impractical jokers.

Revolution, finishing watching before the new season states and I fall to far behind.
I'm really digging this show. I don't know how it escaped my attention to begin with but thanks to Netflix I got to see the first season and am excited for wednesday to roll around for season 2.

I feel like this show gets a lot of undeserved negative criticism. I enjoyed it and am looking forward to season 2.

Saw another of the new fall shows, Blacklist. I liked it. Not sure on the female lead though.

Also saw Episode 2 of sleepy Hollow and enjoyed it. I think this could end up being a very solid show.

@menace-uk-

Blacklist looks really good, a couple of co-workers saw it and recommended it. I'll have to check it out
You should.
I LOVED the first episode last night. James Spader makes an awesome villain/good guy? You will have to see the show to understand what I meant :)

That's his name. For the life of me I could not remember it. He looks a little chubby now. He was very good though.

I will show looks right up my alley. Yeah James Spader is getting pretty haggard looking now, he does a great job playing the less savory characters :)

I believe it. I mean Joss Whedon and crew picked Spader for Ultron in Avengers 2 saying that he's a prefect fit for the big bad.
