What TV show have you seen recently ? Episode one

Alright I need to talk about something.

I only have antenna TV, plus Netflix and other streaming ventures, but my favorite channel is Charge!

Charge! only shows like ridiculous old movies and 80's-90's action tv shows. Walker Texas Ranger is a favorite of mine, but recently I've been watching Magnum P. I. and this show rules. I cannot believe I haven't seen it before.

It's got it all man. Action, fist fights, Hawaii, mustache, shortest shorts of all time, gun fights, and most importantly, super bad car chases.

I'm in love.

Yes, if I could be anyone else than myself (or Arnold in his prime) it'd be Magnum.

Celebrity Escape Room: fun distraction

The puzzles were simple, but Jack Black and the "contestants" were funny. Good wholesome TV for the entire family.

Watched both seasons of Atlanta. Missed the second season when it aired, and didn't remember the first all that well. It's so friggin good.

Season 2 got real horror-ish in there. Loved it

An incredibly good show. Been waiting for season 3 for a long time.

After finally getting good internet, I need to find some new stuff to watch that's not available through cable or satellite TV. I have a Roku and installed a few things like Pluto TV. Looking for stuff that is FREE to watch.

30 for 30: Be Water

2 hour documentary on the life of Bruce Lee. I don't think Bruce would appreciate how much they focused on how discriminatory society was against Asians, but I learned a few interesting things about him. For one, that he has white blood in him, and two, that Enter the Dragon was released after his death. Lastly, although raised in Hong Kong, Bruce was actually born in the US.

Lots of footage from home videos and his films, as well as interviews from those who knew him.

All seasons of Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown are on HBO Max. I’m starting over from the beginning, this show is so damn good. I don’t think I saw some of the later seasons when it aired on CNN.

What I loved most about the show was learning about the places he went and the people he met.... and the food porn...

Making of Frozen 2 (Disney Plus): HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I wasn't a fan of Frozen 1 and 2, with the exception of Olaf. However, the inside look at the making of an animated film was SUPER interesting. Almost hard to believe they basically completed the film flying by the seat of their pants.

I finshed Ju-On Origins. If you like the movies you should check it.

I'm now watching Marianne. A French horror series. It's creepy and I'm getting some Alan Wake vibes. It's good.

Been watching Terminator:The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and it doesn't hold up to well. I remember it being good, but the acting is terrible at times, the action scenes are poor, the Sarah Connor narration seems very outdated.

Would love to see them give a show like this another go.

Yes a Terminator series on a streaming service with a bigger budget would be awesome. Since the last film didn’t do too hot at the box office hopefully they would consider a new series. You should write them...every day... till it happens.

Don''t care enough to do that.
