What TV show have you seen recently ? Episode one

Umbrella Academy Season 3 - Good. I think I enjoyed this one more than the previous 2.

Was this the final season? I can't really tell with that season finale.

I haven't seen a definitive yes or no either way. The cast make it sound like there will be or at least they want to do more.

Resident Evil (Netflix) - Good

I'm one of the very few who actually enjoyed it. Funny though, enough people are hate watching the entire season that it might get renewed if Netflix ignores social media.

Finished all 3 seasons of Barry.

Simply put one of the best shows around.
Going to preface this by saying that I love the show......but sometimes how Barry gets away with stuff is just so far fetched and out of this world ridiculous.

Bill Hader said there's two more seasons I believe and they already have it written. Hopefully we don't have to wait years between seasons again.

The Rehearsal - S1 E1. Great

Can't wait to see this show unfold. Nathan Fielder is a comedic genius and not enough people saw Nathan For You. Legitimately one of the funniest and most unappreciated shows ever.

Stranger Things Season 8: Seriously?

For pete's sake. End this show already. Those kids aren't getting any younger. What's next season going to look like? Grown adults posing as teens again?

The far fetched stuff works perfectly with Barry though.
Season 4 is written and filming starts soon.

I also love how

Sally has low key been the biggest psycho of the lot and easily missed by viewers

I finished the 6 episodes of We Own This City on HBO. Not sure if I'd recommend it or not. Done by some of the same people involved in the Wire.

In one way, everyone should watch it to see how terrible a police force can be. It is based on a true story (not sure exactly how true it stays, but it keeps real names. It takes place over years and annoyingly skips around, but eventually paints a picture of just how bad things got (still are?) in one of America's largest cities. It seems to not decide if it is a documentary or a show, and sometimes falls into the Wire trap of going into the boring nitty gritty of police work.

Again not sure if I'd recommend it or not. I was invested through the whole thing (each episode is a full hour even though there are only 6).

Netflix's Resident Evil - Only watched the first episode but WTF!!! Apparently, Umbrella the mega corp working on illegal biological weapons allows "Spock21" as a password, lol.

-The girl trips over but there is nothing there to trip over.
-They show the Z's lock on to blood and kill each other to get to it first, but when 1 Z gets the girl the heard are too busy looking at nothing.
-The dog burst through a locked metal door but these girls think a glass window will protect them.
-Chick gets slammed hard on a car from like 20ft in the air, seemingly nothing wrong with her.

I could go on.

The main character is simply dumber than a bucket of shrimp.

The writers must have been high or drunk or something.

About two episodes into this. I like it decently enough, but yeah I kinda feel the same. Gonna finish it

Boys (Latest Season): dragging it along

What is it with these shows? They're just dragging the plots along with no real resolution to the original plots from the first season.

Finished new season of The Boys. Show continues to be entertaining as hell. One of my favorite shows on right now I love this damn show lol.

Finished Outer Range on Amazon. Took a while to get through it, but mainly because I've very sporadic when I feel like watching a show or movie. It was entertaining although thought the ending was odd.

Started season one of Severance last night. Very intriguing.

Edit: Outer Range not Open Range, although that is amazing movie.

Watched 3 episodes of that more adult animated comic book series on Amazon Prime called Invincible. It’s pretty cool I like it. Really brutal at times and some nice humor. This thing has a surprising voice cast behind it.

Invincible is awesome, end of the first episode was crazy, Amazon got a couple good animated shows going for it.

Had absolutely no idea season 2 was dropping next week. Hulu only this time. Not sure if it'll be weekly or all at once.
