It's an anime and it's so, so good.

It's pretty much about Humanity being brought to the brink of extinction by giant humanoid creatures called Titans and humanity's struggle to fight back.

Anyone seen it?

Yeah, I've seen about 10 eps. This was about 2 months ago. I need to pick up where I left off, and yes, it's an awesome anime.

I always exchange movies and shows with a friend of mine and she told me she doesn't watch anime, so I gave her episode 1-5 in my last batch to mess with her.

I think it's an anime that people who aren't into anime can get into. It's a very interesting concept and the world is pretty well put together.

Attack on Titan was like a drug for me. I felt the first few episodes dragged on. Slow character development and Armin was the weakest character I had ever seen. Not a supporting character but a crippling character.

The show is fantastic, the animation is wonderful and by the end I was desperate for more. It's the next Manga I am going to pick up I think. It's way to interesting to wait for a season 2!

The show does a good job of changing setting and the assumptions you make on how the show will go.

It's a great anime based off an outstanding manga that I recommend you read if you enjoy the show.

You don't need to read the chapter 0 prototype, just start with chapter 1. If you think the show blows your mind, the manga definitely will.

I thought it was alright at best personally. It reminded me of Jack the Giant Slayer except they made the Titans way over powered. They want me to believe that a high speed sword slash can cut through the titans but cannons are essentially useless? Still, it's a solid giant monster story. I know adultswim is showing the animated series of this now.

This definitely could be an anime for the more general public, but only if it is dubbed. Pray fast it happens soon.

Ummm...cannons are effective against many of the titans, just not the armored ones, and sword strikes aren't effective against armored titans either. Anyone interested really should read the manga, as it really opens up and explains some things.

I liked it a lot when the anime was airing, but it had a lot of pacing issues. Pacing issues which are still present even in the current manga chapters. Even with the stuff that takes place after the point the anime series ended at, the story just hasn't really gone anywhere since.

I've seen the show it can look really good when it wants too but god damn hardly anything ever f***ing happens and my god when the action stops so does most of the animation. I was reading the manga too but got so f***ing bored I stopped. I mean damn 20 pages to show a f***ing battle plan come on now s*** and them sitting around talking for pages and pages.
