Who won E3 2019?

Going with Bethesda. While we had already seen stuff on Doom Eternal and Wolfenstein Youngblood, considering we got repeats on the other conferences I can't dock them for it. Haters gonna hate but Fallout 76 was decent at launch and only getting better. Throw in Ghostwire Tokyo and Deathloop and it wins on new IPs alone imo.

This year was a s*** show all around, few games with actual gameplay shown. I didn't watch the Nintendo direct or whatever they had but a lot of people seem happy with them but again it's all just the same thing over and over with them. I'm not a big Nintendo fan so seeing two more Zelda games doesn't excite me but I know that's what their fanbase wants. I don't think anyone really "won" this year, most people seem pretty upset at MS's show, Ubisoft wasn't up to their usual standards either. I'd probably have to go with Square Enix or Nintendo if I had to choose one but that's just based on what other people are saying.
There is a case to make for that lol, that death stranding video that came out not too long ago and the FF 7 remake trailer/release date seemed to create more buzz than anything at MS's show and the PS5 interview pretty much told us all the same stuff MS's video presentation did about their console. Sony didn't have to spend a dime or pull devs off of projects to come to the show and they still seem to have gotten more goodwill than MS this year. This was going to be a pretty blah year no matter what though, final year of focus on the current generation of consoles meant we probably weren't going to get many surprises, still MS focusing on CGI trailers for Gears when it's coming out in a few months was a stupid mistake to make.
Looking back at Microsofts conference, it was actually pretty decent. It could have been good if they showed more Gears 5 campaign and showed whatever they have of Fable.
I am kinda bummed that the timeline for Gear 5 info release dates shows Campaign info not until September. I am just want to see a glimpse! I am so ready for Gears 5.
Either they can't show it because its got too many surprises/spoilers or they have absolutely no confidence in it
I feel like I’m in the twilight zone a little lol, I thought this was easily one of the better E3’s for MS
Could you imagine if MS had skipped, and some other company had shown up and announced a new console? It would be billed as a major victory.
People are just funny with MS. Some of their biggest fans are their toughest critics.
Not showing up to E3 or having a flute at E3 for the past two years > showing 100 games on stage over the past two years.
I don't know about everyone else here, but for me, gaming is about playing games. Of those 100 games shown by MS, I am buying so many of them, it's crazy.
Yeah but you know their situations are very different. Sony was in a position to skip. Microsoft wasn't.
Sony could hold their own conference with what they still have up their sleeve.
If they took some of the Square stuff they could have done a really great State of Play
Let’s be honest, a Keanu Reeves appearance makes your press conference a 9.5/10 at bare minimum
