Sony easily had the more interesting games to me and I don't that they're a ways off because I have an endless backlog of games

Ooooh new blood! Welcome!

Where's my Cuphead dammit?.

A google news search still shows no news on a release date :(

It's funny. Last year people moaned that MS just showed trailer after trailer and this year its because they had developer's on stage every other game

Yup. First it's "WAHHHH, we don't want trailers and CGI, we want actual gameplay and demos". Now all of a sudden "WAHHHH, we don't want gameplay or demos, we want trailers!"

Oh, I missed it then. Was that PlayStation Experience or something?

Yes, they had a 3 minute debut at the show for it.

Where's Shawn when we need him? :p

Who needs Shawn??? :hehe:

Which is much closer than anywhere else on the net which has Sony winning by far.
^where does this guy find time to read the entire internet?

This is how I feel. Due to the pre-E3 rumors and the current market situation MS was the only company that HAD to do something; which was to announce new hardware in the relatively near future that was going to be equal to or exceeding the Neo's specs. Anything less was going to be a major letdown. They did that, even if the Sony software lineup was definitely more interesting and diverse overall.

18 months doesn't seem very near future to me. The Neo is supposed to be releasing way before that.

Most aren't saying MS won... that's a union thing :meh:

So true. This is still an xbox site at heart. ;p

Sony. Their games lineup and presentation was epic. Kojima's reveal was amazing. MS didn't have much except for the Scorpio announcement and Scalebound imo.

Xbox won. I understand why the majority of casual onlookers and hardcore gamers in the press feel Sony won. They put on a great show. They showed at least 4 games that look better than anything on Xbox One. But 3 of those games have no release date and will be out after Scorpio...and for all we know will need to be played on the Neo to look like those videos.

Both MS and Sony showed a similar number of exclusives. The difference is most of MS's games were either announced or leaked but will be coming out over the next year while many of Sony's were surprises that we won't see for 2-4 years. (Does Kojima even have his stuff unpacked in his new office yet?) MS has shown a lot more actual gameplay at E3 and the games are previewing well.

The hardware announcements, while expected, were both unveiled as being more than what many people anticipated.

The added features to the ecosystem (background music, clubs, cross-buy/cross play everything 1st party) are coming soon. There wasn't any equivalent of ecosystem enhancements at Sony's conference.

Overall I'm more excited about owning a Xbox for the next year and beyond. Sony showed some great videos and I may get a Neo when they finally release. Then again, who knows if I'll still feel the same way about those games 2-4 years from now after Scorpio has been on the market.

Between now and next year's E3, MS's show will resonate more despite the lack of surprise games. Xbox, due to the way they're changing the landscape, is getting most of the attention right now. Attention is good as long as people aren't laughing at you.

Shuhei tweeted that all the games shown at the E3 conference were on the standard PS4 when someone inquired whether they were being played on the Neo.

Silly Xbox fanboys... voting for Sony apparently, but still Xbots.

On a serious note, i voted for Sony myself, because overall i think they had that wow factor that a lot of people are drawn to... but that doesn't mean i can't logically put together a scenario in my head where someone would be more excited about a showing of all games they can play in 8 months as well as a new console coming out next year over a impressive showing made up of mostly exclusives that have a possible 2-3 year window, if not longer.

That's only an excuse to downplay Sony's conference. Let's be honest Sony had 4 AAA games early this year and that's not including third party exclusives I can get NOW. What makes it even more sweet is that people didn't expect Sony to win. The hardwate upgrade is keeping Xbox relevant otherwise it'd be a slaughter house. Let's be honest The X1 lost this gen. I've told people once Sony get started they are unstoppable.

Sony had four "AAA" games this year already? I count one.

Sony's games looked good but could suck or be average. Who knows?

A great E3 demo doesn't automatically make a game great.

TBH I wasn't "wowed" by anything this year. I'm not really sure what I was looking for.

I still want to play Below and that's really it.

I still voted for MS simply because they laid everything out for the rest of this year and the hardware for next year.

Again, Sony had some great titles, but nothing to get excited about yet. I can still put off picking up a PS4 because the only 2 games I really want to play, currently, is Uncharted 4 and Until Dawn. Detroit looks good. I actually enjoy the David Cage games.

This post reads like all sorts of hurt feelings over me saying i can "understand" why someone might prefer MS's conference.

I honestly couldn't give two s***s about how well Sony or MS are selling, from a consumer perspective i only care whether or not what they are releasing is satisfying me. You can fap to their sales and winning all you want, that's some good cheerleading.

Let's not start posting entire press articles about who won E3. Let's just stick to posting our own opinions.
