1. What will happen when you plug a 360 into an Xbox One? What type of features, overlays, benefits, et cetera, will there be.

2. How dedicated servers will change multiplayer (in more depth and use it as the selling point it is).

3. The way Kinect will revolutionize the living room, where games, tv, Skype, social media and entertainment can all be experienced at once.

Just a few thoughts. I feel they are doing too much damage control on trivial things instead of playing this petty game with the nay sayers online. Just SHOW me the experience, not fantasy football, not tv tv tv, but how my life as a gamer can be bettered by having this box.

Ideas? I want other ideas too, not just reactions to mine :)
 
1) Nothing much will happen afaik

2) dedicated servers aren't that new...compare BF mp to CoD mp and you will understand why it is a good thing for multiplayer

3) They have, there are lots of tech vids out there showing what the Kinect v2 can do.

The casual COD players are who they need to inform, just tell them no more lag and they will go ape sh!t over it haha

Tech videos on YouTube are great but don't get the work water cooler talking.

Just wish they would got their stuff together a bit earlier. Too close to launch to be hiding so much. Its like a war of non news from them and Sony, both fearing they will blow their load too early.
 
That's how it is every launch. Wait until october when the media embargo's start lifting and we get flooded with hardware and game reviews up the wazoo
 
I really want a hands on vid showing how good the voice recognition works for turning on your theater system, switching games on the fly and flipping tv channels.

It will still be the X1 dashboard and overlay. All you will be doing is using the HDMI pass through so that your 360 could be one of the sources. It should work the same as using live TV basically.

I think that they have tried this to an extent. The problem is that most people would really have to experience it to get a good feel for it.

I think they've shown this with the voice controls, the NFL content that they have integrated, and even with some of their games like Project Spark and Kinect Sports Rivals.
 
I have a feeling that over the next couple of months the X1 hype train is gonna leave the station. They need to get the X1 into the mind of the average consumer and so I think we will see more commercials and more info so uninformed people can decide what to get. Not that the OP is uninformed.

After TGS we'll be dry with news for a while. Very Important they keep people hyped for the X1.
 
ps4 is all over the gamestop and not one X1 item is anywhere to be seen. Commercials are another thing even though it is very stupid commercial from SONY, still its in people faces.

I feel that the X1 is only been heard from the web and our dashboard.
 
Microsoft still needs time to lock down the dashboard for the Xbox One. Having Windows 8.1 come out about a month before the new Xbox probably does not help as they share a similar code base.

MS has always been pretty quiet about stuff, outside of actual presentations.

X1 is all over my GameStop. As well as my best buy and Walmart.
 
Same here, I see X1 ads all over the place, especially Wal-Mart. I haven't seen hardly any PS4 ads though.

True, however after the terrible E3 PR, they should be getting all they can do to get the dis-information outta the publics head. I still see sites/blogs that deride the XBone for not playing used games, always online etc... They should have been more clear and concise at E3

Yeah the should have, the amount of misinformation arising from confusion was horrible. People actually thought you had to physically sign into your console once every 24 hours or you're games would be locked out o_O. Oh well, apparently they have something big coming at TGS.
 
I think MS will let Sony do the talking this gen and see how it all turns out for xb1.
 
Y'all aren't seriously doubting the MS marketing machine, are you? When the time comes, you wont be able to NOT see Xbox One stuff everywhere.

Remember the Kinect push? Oprah, Ellen, setups at Macy's. It was a blitz, and that was just a peripheral.

Its coming, folks.

Winning one battle--in the unlikely event they do--doesn't win the war. Microsoft is in this for the duration, and knows how to wage a long and protracted business campaign. XBOX ONE, BABY!
