How do you take Screenshots on your Wii U ?

1. Press the home button.
2. Go to browser then you registrer to copy.com (this is best to do from computer)
3. Upload your screenshot, if you don`t see screenshot press X.
4. On your computer sign into copy.com and download the copy app (is under "..." )
5. Copy app will make a folder on your computer where you can rename the screenshots.
6. Re-upload to a site like Imgur, photobucket or Imageshack
7. post here, two pictures/ screenshots each post

or

I just wished to add something for the Wii U screen shot up-loaders, after playing around with the uploading function, I found out that MS' Skydrive/One Drive also works. It might serve as a nice alternative for those that do not like copy.com or wish for an alternative.

It basically works the same:
  1. Press the Home Button.
  2. Open the browser.
  3. Fill in the address to Skydrive/One drive (Onedrive.live.com).
  4. Log in with your Microsoft account if you have one.
  5. Make a folder where you would like to upload to.
  6. Press the upload icon.
  7. After that your Wii U will give you the choice what screen to upload, tap the one you wish to upload.
  8. DONE!
  9. If you have a Windows PC with Skydrive/Onedrive installed or Windows 8.1 than you can just rename them in the folder where it syncs the files with :). As your Wii U will give each file the same name.
Sharing:
  1. Click on the image you uploaded, can even be done on your Wii U.
  2. Click Share.
  3. Then instead of "Invite people", You can click, get a Link.
  4. This link is a tad on the long side, so "click on shorten link" for a more managable length.
  5. As shown here: http://1drv.ms/1hZJCvh

Sadly that is just the link to the whole file, there is however a way to embed the file anyway:
  1. Click on Show Original
  2. And copy the address.
  3. Now you can use it like this:

One more tip:
Share a folder, it works the same as a file. That way you do not have to share each file and you can just copy the addresses for embedding as described earlier.

Hope it is of some help! :).

And like Vorken, stay fabulous! :D

Hope it is fine with Dehnus that quoting post here, great information there.

Edit:

Also title on game would be nice to have above screenshots.

Does WiiU capture screens @ 1080p or 720p?

Capture 720p, all my screenshots 720p and I do read that games that are 1080p will be "downsized" to 720p when taking screenshot.

Title change, since max limit, this is to keep with the other screenshot threads.
I just hope there is more than just me that will post screenshots here :)

I will start on some this weekend, got a new LCD screen for my GG and will be installing that today and then will have to decide which U game to play through again.

will this picture thing work with E-shop or VC titles ?

Worked well with Super Metroid sow I would say yes would work with all VC titles. E-shop titles should also work I believe, I will test a bit on Knytt Underworld a bit later on.

Slightly offtopic, but a Tip: If you wish to upload without going to the hassle of renaming al the time. Use the Flickr uploading tool and than "Migratr" to take your screenshots of Flickr and into another service for you to share them with people.

It remains a bit of a bandaid, but until Nintendo decides to make that number in the end of the screenshot unqiue we need to be a tad creative. If people like I can write a short how to, but it is rather simple. Just go on Flickr and press upload, than you can keep adding screenshots tot he uploadr until you are ready to post them on your stream ;).

Edit:
Flickr I mean, not Twitter. I know it is late, but that one is unforgivable. Feeding people into the hive mind, how dare I! :).

I shouldn't ask, but how is the screen quality and battery life after the mod? And do you have GG Shinobi 2? Always loved the music in that one.

I guess one can ask in the Nintendo Sub forum, seeing how many of us are actually fondly remembering the SEGA vs Nintendo times. I doubt many Nintendo fans would actually mind it much :).

The screen is much cleaner but the reason for the mod is battery life. Supposed to get 6-8 hours of battery life instead of 2 lol

dont have shinobi 2 but it looks pretty good.

How is this game? I was curious about it, but I heard really mixed things.

Some parts are done pretty good but the controls are slippery compared to the last 3 games I have played DKCTF, SM3DW and Astal. So far it is just an average platformer with OK controls. If you are a fan of Sonic games you might enjoy it
