Will Smith slaps Chris Rock at Oscars

Why haven't they shown the footage between smith laughing and getting up? They clearly had a great shot of anything she might have said.

She's always come off as a nasty person who thinks she's some mega star

Can Americans here tell me, if its normal & accpetable for a spouse to publically said he/she sleep with other people because you cannot satisfied them in bed?

Only places where it is "acceptable" are in Polygrammy societies where men have multiple wives.

Maybe I am not "progressive" enough

Sad. Will Smith used to be an inspiration to me. Now he is, inspiration what NOT to be.

I don't think she publicly said that

She said something along the lines it was needed to learn and grow and that it was and “an entanglement”. It’s in the video of her interview with smith. She cones across as not caring and that it was nothing, laughs it off when he presses her to just say that she cheated on him.

I dono what im about to ask has any relation as to her actions but is she a Scientologist as well, as he is? I just found out recently he was, coulda swore he was a Christian…I wonder why the change

*edit to update

Guess not…

That seems excessive.
I’d rather they had taken his award.

What he did and said later was really just to cover his ass as an excuse as to why he did it. Had he apologized to everyone but Chris directly in that speech of forgiveness to the academy things may have been a bit different, but who knows.

Yepp, he's a cuck with a fake Hollywood upbringing and married with a psychopath. He clearly acted on emotion when he saw those psychotic demon eyes staring at him laughing at the joke and thought he might redeem himself if he slapped Chris.
It's lol worthy to an extent but I'm kind of feeling for Will here

Not really, he committed a "violent act" on national television during their show, I'm surprised he wasn't banned for life. Had he not quit the academy they probably would have just suspended his membership or even kicked him out but he quit before they could punish him which was a bit of a selfish move IMO. The reality is though he ruined that night for everyone else, he actually walked up and slapped another man on live tv after laughing at the joke himself, you can't walk up and slap people like that it's illegal and set a terrible example.

He's probably better off not being there for a long time anyway, I think the people who are saying they are traumatized are lying their asses off, they are the same types of people that claim that hearing someone say something racist or homophobic makes them physically ill lol. It's all about trying to make it look like they had the biggest reaction or were the biggest victim in a bad event vs just living in reality and being mad at someone for doing or saying something stupid. There are people out there acting like they are worse off than Chris Rock and he's the one that got hit.
