Nice to see they aren't shutting down, but I thought Remote working was bad.
They were in Marin county, which is hella pricey, and their location was like in the highest priced locations. Nice area tho.
Microsoft allows it, has been for a while, even before the pandemic. Now it’s offered to almost all their employees, especially devs, and I think they’ve been pushing it as an option for maybe the last year and a half.
But wasn't that the excuse for all the delays. That remote working in game development was harder, took longer, and ultimately wasn't a good option.
Yes, but for most, the big devs, weren’t accustom to said work environment, and it was even harder for devs that needed like hands on stuff like motion capture and music. That and it was a transition period that added more work cos cross gen
