At first I was having a lot of fun. After awhile it just became repetitive and no longer fun. I get this is how these type of games play, maybe I should try others.
If you haven’t tried Void Bastards, it is also pretty good and has somewhat of a futurama feel to it. I’m pretty sure the guy that narrated the Stanley Parable narrates this game as well.

A buddy of mine recommended Void Bastards I have it installed will try it out soon. It sounds and looks fun.

He also narrates Thomas Was Alone...

They haven’t given a release date for the Xbox version, of the Stanley Parable, no?

I'm loving Dead Cells, but I see your point for sure. I made it a goal to find permanent runes, and to blast through the first to stages to get to the loot at the end of the levels. I'm trying to get the 30 and 60 second loot, but that seems impossible.
I gave it a brief play this weekend and enjoyed it. I didn't get nearly far enough into it to be irritated yet, though.

Finally got around to trying Dead Cells. Man is this game awesome and brutal, you really gotta grind a bit in the beginning. Once you get a few “perks” unlocked and some decent weapons it’s a lot easier.

I’m downloading this now, looks fun...has anyone here tried it?

It’s really fun, controls took a second to get used to but once you find your groove it’s hella chill and fun. It can feel like super meatboy at first though.

It’s a pleasant surprise, will buy (bought).

If you have Ultimate there is an offer on the dash for 6 months Spotify premium, 1 month EA Access, and month of Discord Nitro. If you redeem the Discord Nitro they give you 3 months of Game Pass Xbox or PC.

Thanks I remember hearing about the EA Access and Nitro stuff during the event but only saw the Spotify Premium logo when they were talking about Nitro so wasn't sure what that was about.

Yeah Lonely Mountain is pretty fun. Not sure about chill, pretty sure the trees move.

I think people who like Trials will like it.

Looks like Phil thinks that Game Pass will have a positive impact on single player games.

Phil Spencer: The number of single-player games being built has gone down as an overall percentage of the games being built. I say that and people throw Sony's first-party at me or something, and they've done a great job building single-player games. It's not really about that. I see all of the games all of the publishers are building. I have - not because I'm smart - I have insight into what's coming and what the publishers are thinking. The thing I saw a couple of years ago was, everybody is kind of chasing this perpetual, how do I keep everybody into all of my franchises all of the time? This is when I said, Game Pass can actually enable great single-player games and stories to be told.

There was a little bit of conflict when I said that. But it was nice to see something like Outer Worlds. Yes, it's from one of our studios, but to boot that game and know that if I want to be done in 20 hours from now I can be. And if I want to play it for longer I can. There are certain games where that's what they should be, and I love that.
