So far, I’m enjoying Journey to the Savage Planet more than I thought I would.
I watched the trailer but everything it said you can do seemed kinda passive. Is there no crafting, bases, armour, tech? Is the world pre built or is it randomly generated?

It is kind of in the Metroidvania style, i.e. find upgrades to gain access to other areas. The main difference being you have to scan and collect resources to “craft” those upgrades. So you can find an upgrade, but can’t use it unless you have the resources to craft it. Resources are pretty readily available on normal though. The game definitely leans on humor. There is a pretty decent sense of progression though.

Might give it a whirl when I finish Ori 2.

Yeah, game is great imo, it's even a real game imo

10 million is a very important number. It's a tipping point. Not for profitability (because they're still giving them away) but for mindshare. To hit that kind of usability and mindhsare before their biggest game releases at the start of a new gen when they'll start advertising again is huge. For me, who just topped off my stack for 36 more months of Game Pass, I can sit back and relax knowing the investment won't stop anytime soon.

I think we all knew deep down that this was coming, but it's great to finally get confirmation! GamePass = streaming or download. Wow! Glad they went there... As long as they just keep the option to either download the game or play it remotely, I think this is an incredible value and really just gives you so many options to play.

Probably gonna get man eater and saints row. Though I’d love to see some saints row gameplay instead of just a trailer!

I see GTA, Doom, Wolfenstein 2 and Metal Gear survive are leaving soon, hopefully they replace with a couple heavy hitters, too bad my quarantine is nearly over :(

A while back I upgraded my existing Gold subscription to Ultimate for $1, but it just ran out last month. At this point it's $15 per month for Ultimate.

Can I cancel my ultimate subscription, get another year of Gold, and update for $1 again? Or is that a one time only thing?

Crossing my fingers that this exists somewhere, my Game Pass is about to run out too

You guys really need to use Microsoft Rewards. When you use it properly, you won't ever have to pay for Ultimate ever again (or at least it'll cover a good part of a year).
