It is a perfect game for a long term service...cars, tracks - both real & fantasy, new features. It is a perfect game for limited time events that all live services have too.

But I'm sure Forza 8 will be the same old piss poor post launch madness.
I hope they treat FM8 like they are treating FM7 now. An ongoing service of updates, at no charge. I am glad they have slowed the production down. Sure, the meta scores are getting better and better, and the content is just overflowing, but we are missing what I think is important for simcades.

For ME, I would love them to release the game like GT Sport. Obviously with more content than GT Sport at launch, but GT Sport is endless updates 2 years later. More tracks, more cars, more scenes, more history and more and more improvements. Not a single penny spent after the initial $60.

The content is actually pretty poor. The car selection has very few new models and nowhere near enough race cars. Tracks are mostly stale...need new ones.

Don't need to make a game like GT sport. Forza 8 needs....

- Fully functioning race regulations.
- License system.
- bunch of new tracks, licensed and fantasy.
- Pit strategies
- Drafting to come back.
- Proper tyre wear and fuel usage.
- Turn leagues into what GT Sport is.
- Big influx of up to date race cars and cars in general
- A complete overhaul of post launch content...it needs tracks, licensed and fantasy. It needs licensed racing disciplines, a better more ghought out car selection.

I mean Forza 7 has an IMSA parner ship and T10 did nothing with it.

Will be lucky to get more than 2 of ghose from the list.

As far as what I was saying about "like" GT Sport, I mean ongoing support, released cars, tracks, updates. Just a non-stop service for years. At no charge. sure, GT Sport should have had MANY more cars and tracks from the start, which is why it was rated the lowest GT ever. But give us Forza 8 with tons of content that we want for $60, and still trickle down free content (cars and tracks) to us for the next couple years to keep the game fresh.

The fact that I boot up GT Sport monthly because they keep giving me new cars and tracks, as well as backgrounds and it updates the single player with more and more content to finish, keeps me coming back for more. I have the game 100% in all areas. But each month that drops back down because they add more and more content. So I go in and 100% it every month.

With FM7, as much as I like the game, they only give me a free car on occasion and no free track releases on a regular basis. I already have 750 cars. So many cars to choose from that I will only ever use 30 of them consistently. I have enough cars. Just give me more tracks, more campaign races, updates, fixes and improvements (like the ones you mentioned).

I'm driver level 500+ and in that time I have only significantly used 7 to 8 cars.

I agree with you on the post launch content.

I downloaded and tried out this game Moonlighter. What a fun addicting little game! It is an old Zelda style dungeon crawler the twist is you’re also a shop merchant. All the items you find you can set prices and sell at your shop. You use the money to fund new merchants (to upgrade weapons and equipment) and upgrade your shop. Highly recommend this little game.

I just plopped it into my download queue. I'm looking forward to getting more time with Shadow of Mordor this weekend, maybe finishing it up and moving on to something else.

Thank you for mentioning that. I got on my Scorpio a little today and didn't feel like playing Shenmue or anything else off hand, saw that I had downloaded this and remembered your recommendation, and ... yeah, worth the time and then some.

Between this and now also playing Stardew Valley I have my nostalgia feels in for awhile!

Shadow of War is now available apparently. Sweet.

Game Pass is the service for the hardcore gamer. There isn’t any way to keep up with the stuff they keep adding. Just beat Metro. Really good game I would’ve never purchased. Beyond the big games, the Day 1 Indies alone are worth the subscription.

I'm sure MGS5 was on here before then taken off, and even maybe a GWG game, oh well at least there's been plenty lately to keep busy
