If Grubb is to be believed tha 30 million number is not accurate, he said they were below 23 million subs last quarter which was a number some people were throwing around. According to him they didn't talk about numbers at E3 because it was actually at 21 million then and it looked bad. He's an xbox shill so he's not going to make up something that makes xbox look bad. If it had hit 30 I'm sure they'd have shared it on their own. I can't post a link to his discussion he's blocked me on twitter but he says this isn't true.

I can’t see it being anywhere near 30 million tbh. I think anywhere near 25 million would be amazing growth. That would be around 33% in 10 months.
It's not, if it were they'd have announced it as soon as it happened. There is no real reason to hold that info back even if some people are trying to justify it. Those who want it to be true need to ask themselves what would have driven that growth? The Series consoles are in limited supply and I have no doubt that the VAST majority of people who are buying them are xbox fans who are already subscribed to GP and are just upgrading from the X1 family of consoles. There haven't been any big software releases that would account for accelerated growth beyond a normal rate etc. You can tell in that video the way the guy just kind of throws it out there he almost sounded as if he was being sarcastic or at least dismissive, he went on to talk about why he didn't think day one AAA games should be released on the service so clearly he doesn't share the vision that MS has.

That game had so much potential and they didn't know WTF to do with it. The gameplay is fine, the characters look good etc but they tried to turn it into something it never should have been. It should have been a single player game with co-op that offered a lot more variety in enemies, locations and mission types.
It looks fantastic, if they just went with the ultimate alliance 1 template they'd be golden imo

The Avengers download keeps getting reset. I've played the first campaign mission, left it to download at 62% and it reset again.
Yea heaps of people on Reddit are having the same problem with no viable solution.
I'm actually enjoying the single player campaign on avengers, it's got a nice cinematic feel to it, the co op is fun but sometimes just feels like I'm doing the same crap over and over, also screw square for locking takedowns behind a paywall, I can understand a couple badass ones but not all of them, real dick move, and the grinding to even get a sniff of a cool costume.
Started Avengers today. It's pretty enjoyable, much better so far than I thought it'd be. In the Utah level now, just got ran down by Hulk

It's not bad, but very mediocre in everything except presentation. I played about halfway through but the gameplay is so dull that not even the incredible graphics and great characters (Ms Marvel is great) could make me play to finish.
At the point I was, there was plenty of combat... It just isn't good enough and the fact that the loot isn't cosmetic is a huge turnoff imo
Yeah don't really care too much about cosmetics and what not. Kind of just achievement hunting this one. I'm sure I'll get to a point where I never touch it again and need to free up all 534282359 TB's of hard drive space it takes.
