How, these consumers are dumb.

They threw away one of the biggest game to make it "cheaper".

All they did they made Call of Duty cost more to buy it out right.

Cheaper always better I guess in eyes of the consumers but of course putting into Gamepass lost them a LOT of money.

Or just make a new tier that includes it or a separate or only includes COD?

Too many tiers, too confusing.

Well, let's do some math here.

$29.99 for the GPU, which includes Cod before the price cut.

$29.99 x 12 = $359.88 Old
$22.99 x 12 = $275.00 New (you save $84)

People are not using their offering to the fullest.

If I apply the $10 gift cards, which I can max out to $100.
$359.88 - $100.00= $259.88

$259.88 (Old with Cod with -$100 off) vs $275.00 New (without)

So you get more money back than if you bought a full-price CoD!

People cry too much because of their emotions

Fun fact. COD is still included with Game Pass. There is a narrative out there that future CODs are not included but that is false.

including the next installment, because that was taken out for the price change. I am surprised that someone is asking. I was shocked that no one is talking about how big a deal this was, and we screw this up.

I feel like someone may have bright it up, in the past, but also I think it was mentioned on some podcast. As someone who’s locked in for two more years it’s kinda like “whatever”, that and I’ll buy gpu when it goes in sale or do the conversion (again when the membership is on sale) or use rewards to buy it straight from them.

It includes all future installments but 12 months after the release. But it’s still included.

That is not day one, this what I mean. We had a great deal and instead of people looking into the perks, they went out and cry like a bunch of babies instead. So technically we pay more.

XBOX keeps throwing out W’s!

Clockwork is EASILY a next year or later game. Fable might actually make it out this year.

I hope we see more of it a the upcoming Xbox Showcase. But they seem to be focused on Gears of War: E-Day for XBOX/PC for that show.

RANT:
I really do hope that the next gen xbox goes for a more simplified naming system. Helix seems just fine to me. Avoid anything with an X or S suffix. Cause I was looking online ( read Reddit and retail forums) and the amount of idiocy/uninformed is staggering.

Swaths of people upset that a game or feature doesn't work for their xbox, only to find out that they have a One S or One X not a Series S/X and they didn't know the difference.

I think Sony realized consumers are dumb early and stuck with the simple numbering pattern for the PlayStation. Nintendo had to learn the hard way with the Wii and Wii U and have made clear definitive breaks in generations. Its time for Microsoft to do the same.

That was one of the points that was made earlier in the gen, that people would be mislead and not know what they are buying into.
