I think his personality is a hoot.

All Xbox needs to do is treat this like a mini version of the 2018 E3 conference. If they want to try out a new format...well..let's just say now is not the time for team Xbox to be overly creative. They don't need Major Nelson for this either. No (online) celebrities, just Phil, Matt Booty and representatives from XGS and 3rd party studios.

I think of him as a complete non-factor at this point. He is just a PR talking head.

I'm sure he is, but I just don't care for his style. Doesn't help that he's the face for the casual gamer so anything he says is PR speak and never to the level of depth I want

Well yeah, he never goes deep. He is PR no doubt. But he is reputable PR. The PR disaster that is Aaron Greenburg needs to be outed.

Can take Nelson or leave him, he seems like a nice guy, but one has to admire how he got to Xbox. His bleeding fanboism, and constant "look at me" column/posts about Microsoft an Xbox, landed him his dream job.

If they announced eight player voyages on Sea of Thieves on Xbox Series X I'd be so happy. Absolutely hate that it's only four players
