Hellblade II, Everwild and PGs game, too.

The Initiative’s game is more important in my opinion because it is the first game from this AAA studio MS put together, and has the opportunity to set the tone for the generation.

I believe Halo will set the tone, hands down. Put TI in the mix with the others and you got a hell of a show!

I honesty think it will be the studio changing their name to a permanent name and then showing the title for their game.

I posted something like this before. The rumor is that’s why the PD and Initiative logos look so similar..? It’s ‘initially’ game was PD, but they hace another game they are working on also, apparently.

So someone said ‘expect to see a name change, PD, and probably a glimpse of what they are also working on.’

That being said, we might not see this until August (if it’s true at all).

If they are working on multiple games then a name change seems pointless.

I would say Everwild, Fable and TI are the most important.

Halo is Halo, it's consumerbase is locked in. Those other 3 offer atleast something fresh.

Hellblade was great, but didn't seem to be a game that appealed to many.

They're changing their name from the Initiative to the Saving Throw, and they're working on a whole slew of D&D-based RPGs. I don't have proof but I literally didn't talk to any inside sources who disagreed with me, so there you go, make your tee times now.

I thought they were chasing it to “magic missile”?

Let me start.

  • Only one hour, so not very many games
  • No Series S
  • No pricing
  • No pre-orders
  • No mixer stream
  • Shows Facebook logo in pic, Facebook must be taking over Xbox
  • No Fable 4
  • No Perfect Dark Zero
  • Didn't have 15 brand new IP's
  • Series X games looked just like Xbox One X games
  • Said WORLD PREMIERE too often
  • Said EXCLUSIVE too often
  • Too many games
  • Too many indies
  • Not enough indies
  • Not enough $200 million budget titles
  • Did not have enough acquistions
  • Announcer sucked

The day you’ve been waiting for is nearly here: On Thursday, July 23 at 9 a.m. PT, we’ll be giving you a closer look at the future of gaming with the Xbox Games Showcase, including world premieres and updated looks at some of the games we’ve already revealed. And yes, that includes your first-ever look at campaign gameplay from Halo Infinite.

Xbox Game Studios is pushing the industry forward with a huge variety of games, all of which support services and features that put the player first, including Xbox Game Pass and Smart Delivery.

What’s more, our celebration of all things Xbox games will start with a Summer Game Fest pre-show beginning at 8 a.m. PT. Tune in for reveals, predictions, insights from YouTube creators, and more on some already-announced titles coming to Xbox. Hosted by Geoff Keighley, the Xbox Games Showcase pre-show will air on YouTube Gaming.

You’ll be able to watch the Xbox Games Showcase in a variety of ways. You can tune-in on:
On the Xbox YouTube channel, live language support for the Xbox Games Showcase will include Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Castilian Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Polish, Mandarin Chinese, Russian, and Arabic translations.

If you’re a content creator interested in hosting a watch-along or co-stream of the Xbox Games Showcase, or posting a reaction or recap after the show, know that Xbox is appreciative!

If you’ve never co-streamed before, be sure to follow your platform’s terms and guidelines, and look for tips on your stream setup. For example, Twitch has put together some top-line tips for content creators to get you started here. Keep an eye out for the new Master Chief emotes!

We hope you’ll join us as we take a closer look at the future of Xbox on Thursday, July 23 at 9 a.m. PT. If you can’t make it, don’t worry: you can check out highlights immediately following the show or view the whole Xbox Game Showcase on-demand soon after it airs.
We’ll see you next week!

I do hate the world premiere s***.

And no price would be s*** aswell.

So they are not talking hardware the show, but more and more rumors are out now that the Xbox One X and Xbox One SADE are now discontinued officially.

I would think they would at least have Xbox Series S announced or out to replace it. Shelves will be empty for months to come, unless they stock up Xbox One S.
