XBOX ONE FITNESS....PAID SUB.....free for the first year!

You get to try it out free for a year. After November 2014 you have to pay for it.

However just to put it in perspective

P90x Basic is $120

Insanity is $120

Those are just to of the workouts listed for the service. If it is priced right it could be an amazing deal.

that's true.. if you look at it like that, 5 bucks a month (60 a year) if they price it like that, will be a good deal

Free for one year is fantastic. I've been using Nike+ Kinect for the past month and a half and am enjoying it, despite some of the detection problems.

This is something no one was expecting. And they even snagged the Beach Body crew! Depending on the cost, this could be great.

Regardless of cost, if anyone buckled down and really put this to use for that free year, they could really transform themselves. There should be a dedicated motivation/xbox fitness thread when the time comes. Keep each other on track.

Scams...thats what those programs are....Overratted HIIT training. (HIIT training isnt overrated, but those programs are)

Xbox One: Turning couch potatoes into slightly more in shape couch potatoes everywhere this November!

You can view the cached version of the page. Interestingly, the cached version doesn't include indication that the first year was free.

I missed the link, what exactly is this about?

As long as it works better than the Ubi game for kinect lol

I think the way it works is you get the actual workout on your screen and all Kinect does is translate your heart rate, pulse, and all that other stuff into the game.

I don't think you use motion controls.

For those that missed the link

Kinect-be amazed
We've completely re-engineered Kinect to take full advantage of all that Xbox One can do. It's more precise. More responsive. More intuitive. Its unparalleled voice, vision, and motion technology lets you reach into games and entertainment like never before. Automatically sign in when you enter the room. Accelerate through a game with subtle gestures. Or navigate through your favorite TV shows with the sound of your voice. It's an entirely new Kinect for a new generation of entertainment.

*Some Xbox Fitness content may not be available with Xbox Live Gold, and may vary over time. After November 2014, unlimited access requires a paid Xbox Fitness Pass subscription and an Xbox Live Gold membership (both sold separately). See xbox.com/xboxfitness.

I'm on board if Kinect 2 is that improved. Hated current games that I had to do 20 sit ups to get credit for 10 :)

Will I be cloud powered while I do this?!

Jokes aside, I'm really interested in this. Should get the nods of many women that don't want their men to waste $ on the console.

Showed my wife this and she got a little more accepting of me spending $500 on the X1.

This seems like it could be a big hit with females. Hearing all sorts of ppl on forums saying their girls are all over this. My girl is big into Insanity and this could be great for her. This must be the rumored fitness game MS was working on. Interesting biz model actually.

If Kinect 2.0 is up to the task then this will be a great addition to the Xbox platform.
