Xbox One X

Those type of interview are pointless if they dont ask the question that EVERYONE is asking. 1080p 60fps.

In some games it's just not technically feasible as they are CPU bound games. For instance Destiny 2, they delivered native 4K with a rock solid 30fps but Bungie said that they could not deliver a 60fps mode due to the game being CPU heavy with the amount of enemies on screen at once.

The CPUs in the enhanced consoles are barely faster than the base console variants. They are UNBELIEVABLELY slow. Low end desktop CPUs are magnitudes faster than what we have in these enhanced manchines

What's funny is that being 4k is basically the only thing there. The the base One has HDR and atmos, lol. Not that the rez doesn't make s big difference, but it's just funny how they made a vid to say that...

The problem is some games don't even hold a stable 30 fps. Destiny isn't perfect, but at least it holds a solid 30 almost the entire time. I see a lot of games coming out that don't even come close to holding 30fps. Too many games regularly drop into the 20s. That's fine for some people, but I'd like the option to even adjust so I can hold a smooth 30.

I've actually been buying games more on PC because of it. I just can't play fast paced action games at an inconsistent framerate. Games should at least be running at a smooth 30 at this point.

And three gens from now, we'll have games in glorious 16K Jizzmatronic Displays with "occasional" frame drops from the normally almost-steady 28.

But still not true 16k when compared to film, sadly Sony will then have its next gen “Chessboard” solution that still looks just a bit off :(

Lol, this what everyone expected of games... on the consoles released 2013.

If it's close to locked 60fps, that's actually really good for a game that's openworld and has a ton of physics/vehicles. The jaguar CPU is absolutely awful, even the X1X.

Hopefully next gen will be much better with much, much, much faster CPU's if the rumored Zen 2 implementation is true.

Kind of funny that they didn't do a higher res with the One X, both the Pro and One X being 1080p 60fps seems a bit on the "parity" for the sake of it side. I don't know how much more they could have done since they are going for 60fps but you would think 1440p would have been possible if nothing else.

I think it depends on the physics and everything else going on, no? I’d rather have better AI, physics, etc than higher resolution since I don’t even have a 4K set yet.

Yeah but that's the thing, they are able to achieve all the same things on the Pro so you'd think there would be a little juice leftover for a slight res boost. We'll see, maybe the framerate drops a bit more on the pro or something, a lot of times devs will say a game is 60fps only to find out that's the target but it often drops.

Sure, but we don't know that they ARE adding extra physics and AI (I doubt it). Hopefully we'll at least get better shadows and LODs...

my guess is that its not locked 60fps on either, with xbox one X getting much closer

Got my kinect adaptor set up. Has to be in the left USB port but I've got 2 extended HD. Don't really want a cable plugged into the front of the console.

Best adaptor?

Looks like those are more for the original xbox one rather than the X

If anyone still has this game..

Man, I played Forza Horizon 3 just randomly last night. That game is still fukcing gorgeous on X.

Makes me wonder how much games will improve with the next hardware.
