i kinda hope BF5 isnt WW1.. thats abit too basic, would be excited for WW2 though. then again i still dont think they can go back, since people will want all the gun customisations and stuff

Looks like some love for the NX. And a new Command and Conquer? I won't get my hopes up just yet.

No Titanfall 2 :( Exclusivity for MS again perhaps?

It says "show floor." So I am assuming all these are playable at the event. I expect some Titanfall 2 news, footage at their press conference.

I am sure there will be more games on the show floor too. I mean there isn;t a single sports title listed, but they are EA's bread & butter.

Show me a MP game that comes with content out of the box with nothing hidden behind a pay wall. So far, BF4 has been the only game that I can enjoy without any DLC again and again.

MCC is pretty legit too.

Anyone else think we could see two new variants of the Xbox? One as a slim down version, larger hdd. Whislt the other goes the all digital with an even larger hdd and a wirerless modem/module that's allways linked to MS to give the ok that you own the games wether your online or not, ala nook/kindle.

Nope.

Might as well keep it simple and have one version. It isn't like leaving out the Blu-ray will lower costs all that much, and with an increased HDD means cost would likely stay the same. You could argue production costs overall will be lower, but if you are making the more expensive box any way, then it isn't going to be a major plus.

The wireless module thing should be on all versions, not just an all in digital variant.

never looked at it in that light. I do wonder what the cost of the bluray/dvd license is. Correct me if I'm wrong, but with the og xbox, wasn't the reason behind the need of the remote/dongle was to pass the price over to the consumer, kinda how nintendo does now with the lack of dvd playback.

And I totally agree with ya on the latter, it should've been part of their initial plan...maybe they'll add it to the next gen xbox in 2-3 year's?

There should be a slim BD-less version made as cheap as possible. The target audience would be those who have gone fully digital, low entry and for those who need a 2nd xbox in the house. The standard sku could have a BD player. Also would be great if the Xbox BD-less wants to download a game you already own, it first checks if there is another Xbox in the house and download directly from it rather than from the store thus saving bandwidth.

Or of you have a external hdd you can just plug in.

Still have my xbox 360 HD-DVD player, and I still use it. Watched Blade Runner on it the other day.
Think a friend still has it, which is fine since I sold my 360 anyways. Stuck with obsolete software but damn if it wasn't cheap there towards the end.
