Have to say, I don't like the March update. I hate that once you go home you no longer see your game/app/TV through the home page anymore.

I don't like any update. I get so used to the way things are i can't stand when they change things around even if it makes things better, lol.

I love it . Much. better than before.

Yup, for once they did something i really like. Made it a simpler version of what it already was. Having to double tap the home button to take a screenshot or make a clip was a hassle before. The UI feels very 360 like now.

New dashboard is much better and faster.

Although I do miss the picture in picture mode.... even if the picture ran at half speed. Very relaxing playing a slow paced game and watching a baseball or hockey game in the top right corner.

I used to do that until I found the quality of passing the hdmi through the Xbox vs direct to the tv from the cable box was a huge downgrade in picture quality in full screen.

No longer am I using HDMI in.

I was at Target last night and they had a bunch of Xbox 360/X1/PS4/PSVR on clearance for $10 or less.

The games that I bought and saw:

Tales of Borderlands $10
MGSV Phanton Pain $10
Sunset Overdrive $10
Batman TellTale Games $6
Mirror's Edge Catalyst $6
Rise of the Tomb Raider $10
Life is Strange $6

Target clearance are nationwide so go check it out. Here is a photo that I took at my store.

Maybe he's there to praise/promote QB4K for the anniversary?

I have a strong feeling that Xbox will drop a megaton announcement out of left field at E3. The Digital Foundry coverage of Scorpio's internals were great to establish the power of the next console, but Xbox needs to showcase three things at E3 (aside from the console's exterior case): 1) Games 2) New features 3) New service(s).

1) Games: We'll probably see the usually-anticipated titles like Forza and Halo. Cuphead will likely launch with Scorpio.
2) Features: showcase stuff about Scorpio's OS.
3) Services: this is the x-factor, imo. Game Pass was already announced, which was huge in its own right, but there's something that Xbox has to pull out of its sleeve to show that Scorpio is a MUST have. This could dovetail from some new feature that the OS offers.

No Halo or Gears at E3 this year.

I don't really care about services to be honest. What they need is more qualty first party titles, and they need them spread out over the year more.

Is Scorpio's OS really gunna be much different?

It's going to be the only true 4K Console Exclusive OS for at least a couple of years, which of course means less than a tick on a dog's ass but somehow as stupid as it is, there will be debate on whether it's really exclusive if you can have Windows 10 on PC.

And I STILL can't watch Bree Olson get dp'd on xhamster in 4K on my Xbox Scorpio :(

Xbox One Boss Would Love To Work With Remedy Entertainment Again

“We don’t have a deal with Remedy. I will say when you start working with a studio…and once you’ve figured out how to work together, I think Playground [Games] is a good example of this, you get into a rhythm, I think it’s easy to take some of that burn that you have building the relationship and doing things again in the future. I’d love to work with Remedy again. We don’t have a deal right now. As you can imagine at different events, we talk to a lot of the developers out there,” Spencer told IGN.

Phil Spencer on Alan Wake 2: Remedy Has to Want to Make the Game
Will there ever be an Alan Wake 2? According to the Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, the ball is in the developer Remedy’s court.

When sitting down for an interview with Stevivor, Spencer was asked “what it would take to see Alan Wake 2 on Xbox One and Windows PC?”

According to interviewer Steve Wright, Spencer furrowed his brow and looked up to the ceiling, before saying the following:

“How do I put this? Well, the developer… the developer has to want to make the game.”

“They have been really supportive about Alan Wake and [now head of Xbox] Phil Spencer has been awesomely supportive when it comes to Remedy and Alan Wake along the way. We showed it to Microsoft and I guess at the time Microsoft was looking for something slightly different for their portfolio.”

Fast forward to Fall 2015 Alan Wake 2 popped up again, however, this time it was good news. When asked by Game Informer if we would ever get to play the sequel, Lake answered decisively with one word: “yes.”

So again I’ll ask, are ever going to get Alan Wake 2? I’m not sure. But going off Spencer’s latest comments, it appears Microsoft has given the greenlight, and all Remedy has to do now is make it. Perhaps, it already is.

with all the Alan Wake easter eggs in Quantum Break, my dream is for Alan Wake 2.

Would love to see Alan Wake using the QB engine. The game engine is already built so hopefully development wouldn't be the typical Remedy 5 year dev cycle. AW2 would be a great surprise at E3.

I imagine it will be exactly the same thing in 4k. I guarantee that extra gig of RAM is to help it all go faster and to assist with the whole 4k capture crap.

If they go all out with Gears 4 and the next Gears i'm sold on Scorpio for that alone. Just making the jump to 60fps made all the difference in multiplayer. Can't imagine it at 4K/100fps or something if it could be done. Smooth as butter.
