Gamers lose out reading some great threads that don't have anything to do with fan wars. I have to say that big thread about video game secrets you never realized is fantastic. It's amazing at the stuff other gamers notice, but you don't when playing a game.

But gaming wars related. Sony loses, but MS, Ninty and PC win.

Digital Foundry loses big too, since every Vs. article gets plugged big time on GAF. No other gaming forum follows DF articles so closely.

Lol, why am I not surprised that the owner of Virtue Signal Central(tm) is caught up in something ironic. There were some good info and screenshot threads there, but i hope the cancerous elements of the population don't drift this way...
 
Anybody else having issues with video clips not showing up on 3rd party sites like XboxDVR and XboxClips? They are uploaded and show on the activity feed on the dash.

Someone in the other thread just posted that they want to make the game but need a publisher. Direct quote from their Twitter recently.
 
Now with the Kinect officially off life support, is it worth buying one for say just dance central? I want to get it for my niece, she loves dancing...but with the switch/mario bundle in the mail are there any fun alternatives?

Holy hell.

That's amazing anyone could talk crap about The Coalition. They've put more support into this one title than all of the previous Gears titles received total.

It's probably a bunch of idiots who never played the game with their panties in a bunch, like... you jumped ship, bought a PS4 and are stuck pretending Uncharted scratches the same itch... we get it. Totally their problem though, no point in taking it out on Gears 4.

I'm looking forward to giving that game another run. I'll be posting a s*** ton of nice 4k shots of this and Quantum Break.

I even saw people bitching about it being too colorful, when it was constantly panned for it's color pallet. Then bitching about map remakes when many people wanted to see these old maps. People are dumb, and the dislike ratio on that vid is unjustified. The game is very good, if not revolutionary.

Major publishers don't like paying for AAA games and not owning the IP. There are exceptions like Titanfall and Destiny. but they're rare. It'll end up like Alan Wake 2.

No. As someone who has put more hours into Gears 4 than every other game combined this gen, the backlash The Coalition has gotten has been warranted. Yeah, they support the game and that's awesome but if you played over the last year and saw the way they handled the microtransactions you'd get it. Forums were flooded with pissed off people, aka the people who play the game the most.

I don't see anyone in that youtube comment section complaining about microtransactions.

Seems to be mostly bs comments.

To be fair the game could drive you to madness sometimes, leaving you in a Happy Gilmore state, yelling constant obsceneties at your console while violently hacking your contoller apart with a pen before resorting to blunt force trauma.
 
I have something weird happening that I’ve never seen before. I am playing and all of a sudden my wireless controller quits and starts blinking slowly and now will not sync to my XBox One S. The batteries are charged. Tried my other wireless controller and it is doing the same thing and those batteries are charged too. Anyone know what to do? Neither controller will sync to the console.

It's ok just not as good as previous games. You can feel the drop from 60fps to 30fps
