Double the performance is not saying 12TF RDNA it's saying double the X1X, other people are filling in the blanks and making assumptions one way or the other. It may well be 12TF RDNA but he didn't specifically say that. If you start getting into the weeds on everything it just becomes confusing plus it's likely not 100% nailed down yet.

Well, I stopped going to forums mostly because it's too tempting to say things I shouldn't, and I love/value my job at Microsoft too much to risk it.
But it's fun to drop in from time to time still. And I like seeing reactions to our latest hardware/announcements... it's always fun to see what others speculate.

nah, those renders are upside down....well to me it’d make sense if the drive was up to when on its side, the fan would be on your right.
If it was twelve, he'd say it out right. Using hard numbers is always a better way to communicate. My guess is actual TF is lower but actual performance output puts it at twice the power of the One X.
It would be too convoluted (and apparently inaccurate) to just use whatever the TF number is, and it would result in people underestimating what it amounts to.
It ain't 12, and if it was over 12, they'd say "Over twelve Tera Flops!"
If TF are a poor measurement, then that's fine, too.
Wtf? I refuse to believe this, unless AMD found some magic bullet, there is no way the new machine will outperform a thousand dollar card.
Besides, the Senua sacrifice 2 footage was like 24fps and like, 1600p according to DF. This dude ain't going off the reveal if he knows anything (I highly doubt he dies).
