If it's 2x like he said months ago.... then it will be a weak 12TF's so if we go there than we gotta accept it not being much more powerful.

2X the X isn't much more powerful.
2X the X RDNA 2 is about 8 (and change) TF's.
12 TF's of RDNA 2.0 is about 3-5 x the X's 6TF's.
There was ambiguity because he said twice the power. He never said 12. There was room to interpret that as around 9TF of performance because TF on Zen2/RDNA would be roughly equivalent to 12 TF on the older architecture that the Xbox One was built on. Or something like that. It's nice to get confirmation that it's 12 Zen2/RDNA TF.
Given PR speak, we just didn't know for sure what he meant. There was room for interpretation because he didn't use hard numbers. He said Twice, which is actually understated from what we think we know. I could have been a true statement but 9TF would sound weak to the lamen. Now we know that it's actually 12 TF. That is significant.
Stay away from Gamestop. I feel like this may be their last hurrah so to speak. Amazon is ok, but I think all of us have horror stories of them f***ing something up. Best Buy is hit or miss but infinitely more reliable than Gamestop.
Yeah I kind of avoid Gamestop on principle. I wouldn't trust Walmart either. Target was mentioned which isn't bad. I'm not sure Best Buy will still exist come fall. I go in there and the place is like a ghost town.
I may just stick with Amazon. Although they completely screwed up my Elite 2 controller pre-order which I made minutes after the announcement at E3.
I usually buy mine at Game Stop. Never had any issues, but I always pre-order way ahead of time. That said, I may just go with Best Buy this time. I'm not even messing around with internet purchasing. I want the midnight release.
Amazon messed up ALOT of my Nintendo orders and my God of War order. Heaven help them if they mess up my Cyberpunk 2077 Collector edition order. surpisingly Best Buy has never done me wrong. I'm just to lazy to drive to the store most times.
Best Buy delivered my Switch B4 it even released and shipping was free unlike amazon who charges for release day shipping.

Amazon has messed the Xbox One and the One X for me. For the Xbox One they missed the delivery date by three days I think? They gave me around $200 in gift cards if memory serves?

That's a good idea, there's actually a physical store right near my house. I had no problem getting my Elite 2 from them after they messed it up.
