I wasn't impressed until 4.
Although 3 played good.
FH2 was one of the best games from early this Gen.
The graphics in an open world setting were 2nd to none at the time and Game Play wise it put the series on top of the Arcade racing world.

30fps....
Guess you hate all those Sony 1st party games that run at 30 FPS. Pretty much all of them except GT.

What does Sony 1st party games have to do with with me not liking FH2 and 30fps in a racer?

“When the Xbox team started designing this device, they obviously couldn't know about how the world will change. With how the economy will likely be in a few months, people will really appreciate a gaming console if it does allow entering the next-generation at a low price.

Zen 2 CPU, RDNA2 GPU, Raytracing, GDDR6, SSD & Xbox Velocity Architecture, dedicated audio block etc. All the tech stuff that will define the next-generation will be in Lockart, with the primary scaling happening on the GPU and in particular rendering resolution of games.

I know how fanboys will react to the console. I'm not naive. But that Kindergarten stuff aside, I'm convinced Lockhart is the reason how Xbox can win back a ton of market share and this will lead to a more healthy competition as to what we have this generation.

All that said. If you don’t like the idea of Lockhart, here is a very easy advice: ignore it. As a “hardcore gamer“ myself, I’m excited for Xbox Series X, which will be the world’s most powerful next-gen console. As a level-headed person though, I will always appreciate choice.”

People should place bets on wether The Initiative's gane is Perfect Dark or something entirely new.

Maybe the second IP is the XGS publishing game they held back on showing last time.

It would make a lot of sense for the initiative to make a 3rd person Perfect Dark futuristic Spy game in the vane of Splinter Cell but set in the future.

This would allow the New team to have a good idea they could focus on while hiring staff.
A totally new team making a new ip would likely take longer.
With Perfect Dark they have the main character, the setting and the spy game mechanics they could focus on.
It would allow the team to get their feet wet before tackling a new ip.

He posted this 6.05 am UK time so I thought he meant Thursday but in the comments he said he means today, Wednesday
