Sega did online first but it sucked bigtime.
This is not true. I had the broadband adapter, and Dreamcast online was flat-out revolutionary!

Xbox was the first to make broadband standard, and I remember naysayers saying it was too soon.

Too bad the Dreamcast didn’t get more of a chance. It was such a good system. I had the broadband adapter for it too after struggling with customer service for 2 months due to being charged twice and lack of availability. It worked great though. I had so much fun playing Quake 3 Arena on Dreamcast.

It’s like Alaska but with cheese 🧀🤮

Here it comes again. Like I said, I don’t believe this at all, but there have been so many rumors around something with Sega and MS, there’s probably something going on. Maybe bringing OG games to GP or something like that..?

That's.....a bit of a stretch IMHO.

It seems revolutionary for console. But maybe this was done on console before?

I had a lot of fun online with Quake 3 Arena, as well! Lighting MFs up, rocket jumping, etc. If anyone played it without the bb adapter, they probably didn't have a very good time, especially if they were on the opposite team as me. Also, PSO was ahead of its time.

Unreal Championship 1 and 2 were great.
