This is not true. I had the broadband adapter, and Dreamcast online was flat-out revolutionary!Sega did online first but it sucked bigtime.
17 years here too!

Xbox was the first to make broadband standard, and I remember naysayers saying it was too soon.
It’s like Alaska but with cheeseWisconsin...
Here it comes again. Like I said, I don’t believe this at all, but there have been so many rumors around something with Sega and MS, there’s probably something going on. Maybe bringing OG games to GP or something like that..?

Which means it is likely true. Desperate times call for pretending you're Japanese.That's.....a bit of a stretch IMHO.
How is this revolutionary?
I am sure now you can delete your account, thank you.Lies. Don't recall seeing Hedon from TXB forum back in the days.
I was a XBL beta tester.Hell yeah! Who else was a beta tester playing Whacked and Re-Volt?
How is this revolutionary?
It is. I'm not knocking it, I think it is a good thing, but revolutionary seems hyperbolic.Depends what your interpretation of revolutionary is, it's definitely a great move and very consumer friendly just like their BC program.
So exactly like itt is now. You’re making one purchase for multiple platforms and if it is a smart delivery title, it is optimized for whichever system you play it on.
I had a lot of fun online with Quake 3 Arena, as well! Lighting MFs up, rocket jumping, etc. If anyone played it without the bb adapter, they probably didn't have a very good time, especially if they were on the opposite team as me. Also, PSO was ahead of its time.Too bad the Dreamcast didn’t get more of a chance. It was such a good system. I had the broadband adapter for it too after struggling with customer service for 2 months due to being charged twice and lack of availability. It worked great though. I had so much fun playing Quake 3 Arena on Dreamcast.
Unreal Championship 1 and 2 were great.I had a lot of fun online with Quake 3 Arena, as well!
