I'd be upset if i lost my 120,000 gamerscore. 5 years of all those easy achievement games. I don't know what i'd do. But really, it's a part of me.

I really could not care less about losing them. They mean nothing, and took nothing to get other than time I would have spent doing the same thing anyway. Plus, now I have a personal goal for my new gamertag, beating my old gamerscore:)

Alright the 'persistent world' game rumored from my previous post is supposed to be Red Dead Rebellion. 'Source' claims to have to seen it directly. Hunting and living off the land to be a big part of the game apparently.

I can't picture the next Red Dead being an Xbox exclusive however. I get that it could rely on the cloud, but maybe it's a different game?

Just purchased Sunset Overdrive Day One Edition, I usually never bite so fast but I want more XB1 games for the later months of the year, other than COD, which I purchased for another platform this time.

The open world and colorful zany atmosphere will hopefully bring a change to all the more serious based games I've been playing throughout the year.

I'm actually excited for it. ;)

Guess it's true, i'm not good at a one night stand.

Didn't they say they were having 900p easy?

This is what they said:

It looked pretty good to our eyes, but Mamais insisted it will end up looking even better by the time development is finished for Witcher 3's February 2015 release date.

"We're still optimising for Xbox One and PS4 so it should look better than that in theory," he said. "But everything we're doing optimisation wise for PS4 and Xbox One, we're also optimising for PC. It's a cross-platform engine, so any optimisation we do for one platform goes into the other platform and just speeds it up, basically."

A 900p resolution is CD Projekt's "minimum", Mamais said. "We will hit 900p no problem. We'd like to get it up to 1080p on Xbox One. That's our goal. Whether we can do it or not I don't know. We've got to squeeze everything we can out of the hardware.

"Microsoft and Sony say 900p is the sweet spot, and there's not a lot of difference visually between 900p and 1080p, but it's a hot topic now. So that's what my goal is."

So this will probably mean both versions are 900p. Unless they stumbled upon problems...i mean not even the PC footage was butter smooth, it actually had plenty stuttering. I guess we will have to wait and see.

Why is it so hard to come up with great gamertag names ?
I created a new MS account today to prepare for my Xbox one jump in and hot damn did I struggle to think any up, especially ones that were not taken. In the end I just went with an honest tag, Quiet Stu :meh:

Noob!

The Assassins Creed games are coming out so damn fast. It's hard to keep up. So there's AC Unity and AC Rogue both being released this holiday season. I still need to finish AC 4:Black Flag and start Brotherhood.

My One has given me more trouble than my launch 360, I have had so many problems. Mo the hdmi input has problems. Anything that is hooked to it ill have screen flickering and blacking out. I was using my Fire TV on the input and it was constantly having sound/video issues, today I hooked it to an hdmi input on my tv and not one problem. Same story with my Chromecast and the hdmi in on the One.

I just finished watching Major Nelson play Diablo 3 on Twitch. He even responded to one of my comments. Which was cool considering he had 500 people commenting and watching him play. Its interaction with the public like that, that makes life long fans. Never, in the history of console gaming, have big wigs of a console company taken as much time as MS does to interact directly with their fans. I admit, I am impressed.

Yup, it's really cool. People who paint Microsoft in a negative light because of business decisions are missing the point. Major Nelson and Phil Spencer are gamers like we are and they're the two key guys running the Xbox brand. I don't know how anyone can't get behind Microsoft on that fact alone.

Because of their business decisions ;) that is after all the most important thing. Their decisions directly affect us gamers and usually in big ways. Replying to a few tweets does not absolve a company of poor decision making and is not a reason to respect/love a company. This sort of communication method is the norm, nigh on all gaming companies do it.

One man, Don Mattrick, he soured the Xbox brand and is a main reason many 360 owners jumped ship so early on.

Take a look at Sony, they even say they're not sure why there are so many PS4's sold and again, I blame Don Mattrick for his stupidity (he had the wheel, all the f'ups were under his direction).

I'm 50/50 about Major Nelson but I like Phil Spencer, guys seems legit.

I have a question for a friend of mine. He's about to go buy an Xbox One, but he needs to be sure he can just use his gamertag, fill in the password and log in, just like on 360. Cause if for some reason MS sends a confirmation email to his mail adress...it won't work. His account still has a Lycos email and Lycos is dead. He won't be able to click on that conirmation email then. But surely...it works just like 360 right?

Plus when he tried to put a GwG game on the Xbox site in the queue for X1...he got this message:

We're not ready for you yet
Your 30-day waiting period ends on 9/20/2014. Until then, you won't be able to sign in to your account unless you've found your security info.
ji*****@lycos.nl

Is this going to mean he won't be able to sign into his Xbox One with this account until Sep 20?

tell him to ring up MS

also if he can login to xbox.com i am sure you can change the email associated with your account. or even on his xbox 360
