I hope at least everyone who pre-ordered on day one receives theirs.
I'm honestly operating on the assumption that I won't get mine on launch day. I'll be getting Cyberpunk on PC anyway since the next gen update is still some time out. If it does come, great, but I'm just planning on it being delayed.

Yeah this is probably the best mindset regardless of whether you have a PC or not. For me this is partially fueled by lack of must have launch games that are optimized for the new consoles AND the fact I have an X1X which is a fantastic piece of kit on it's own...just that damn CPU. I definitely want it ASAP but if it's delayed, I'll be ok. That said, I do have confidence in the MS store as they've gotten me my 2 previous console orders on launch day (usually later in the evening due to UPS delivery scheduled in my hood). I also think they probably would have a better handle on their allocation and have the most up to date information....as in, getting it from the source.
Yeah MS should be the best. I wish I was able to get an order through them. I got all the way to the payment screen but it crashed on me.
I'm definitely expecting a lot of disappointed people on launch day, for both consoles. Things don't sound any better on the PS5 side. I think both have major issues getting consoles manufactured.

I have 2 on pre-order. 1 is a backup. I'm in MD. If you can't get one by launch we can work something out. If not, I'll probably be canceling close to end of Oct. so I don't get charged.

So today my pre-order had changed to status "Pending" in the MS store. It's been in "Pre-Ordeted" since I pre ordered it. I hope this is a good thing.

I decided to cancel my Walmart (backup) order. Saw that was being prepared as well and didn't want to get charged for both.
Really wish I had gotten my MS order completed. I was almost completely through the order process but could not get it to finish. MS is likely your best bet to get one.

That would beg the question, do I just stick with my Amazon order which I got launch day or try to grab a new one?
I think I'll just stick with Amazon unless I find something from MS. Even then, I'd almost just rather stay in line at Amazon. I would hope that Amazon would put any stock towards the early preorders.
