This observation that "gamers aren't interested" made by you, is based on what, this forum? There are other communities of people interested in VR gaming, and awaiting the arrival of better VR games.

You don't need to sit here and gatekeep VR, for it to fail. If people don't like it, then it won't sell, and it will fail all on its own. I already enjoy VR, and I want the AAA games that MSFT provides through my Xbox console to give me a true choice to play how I want to play, just like they already claim.
I feel the one dev Xbox has that could really showcase what a vr game/experience could do is ninja theory, maybe the coalition followed by turn 10 and whatever team made the Skyrim vr game.

No, not this forum.

You only need look at the facts. Revenue reports. Reluctance from major publishers, etc. I mean s*** dude. It took 40 months for Quest software to reach $1.5 billion, and according to you and your analysts this is a platform that outsold Xbox. Revenue reports from devs start in single digit millions. These are not big numbers. I get there are pricing differences and that, but VR gaming is not even close to mass market gaming numbers.

Hey, maybe GP on Quest will be a catalyst for that to change, maybe not.

It'll be interesting to see what the PSVR2 does.

Honestly, pretty much a waste of time in the commercial sector. Most practical applications were probably business and military, and I read something a week or two back that the military didn’t get approval for HoloLens.

The military turned down a large purchase order, but actually made a new contract to develop a 3rd gen Hololens/IVAS, so it's still an ongoing venture.
