I like Phil. I love my xbox. I love video games. I love reading about video games. I love even more playing them video games. I love some people. Also, love is important.

Do we think splinter cell will get announced at the show?

As much as I would like that to be true, it doesn't make sense to me to unveil it a smaller platform focused event.

Yeh but didn't games like bioshock get announced at previous XO events?

Hope we get to see that full scale multiplayer destruction we were promised for Crackdown 3. Also, i've been saying it for years. They announce a new Banjo game and i'm back onboard. Give me something, anything Microsoft, to get excited for.

New Sunset Overdrive?

After Spiderman, I'd be interested to see what Insomniac can do on the X.

According to that dev from Twitter I keep posting here, they’ve done it. But that remains to be seen.

And if they have, they better show it in a big way.

Oh and give us the playable X018 demo immediately following the show.

There's been rumours for ages about a Xbox Elite Controller 2.0. I would like to see that soon as I'm in the market for a new one and it would be nice to get 2.0 if it's actually a thing.

Mosuse and keyboard works kinda great, i played Warframe with it. Actually, my wireless keyboard is shot, so I used my controller in my left hand and the mouse in the other, sounds awkward as f*** but really wasn't the worst thing ever.

With that said, I kind of hope someone makes a left hand device/controller that has the analog stick, LT, LB and at least 2 Elite style buttons on the back. That would pair up with a 5 button mouse quite nicely.

Any word on the other games that are getting this support? I'm assuming Sea of Thieves, that is all the guessing I've got though.

Well sure, but at that time, the PS3 wasn't out yet so Microsoft had kind of bought itself exclusivity by being out first (with Bioshock and Mass Effect). Mass Effect was first shown at X05 and Bioshock at X06. Those 2 games were never true exclusives though (and Microsoft while the publisher on Mass Effect, didn't own the IP; they really should have bought Bioware though) and it's harder and harder to get 3rd parties to do exclusive titles of any kind. A good surprise 3rd party announcement as a timed exclusive might still be doable. They did announce Rare acquisition at X03 as well. So, the event does have some history of big announcements but I don't expect a TON of them. A new studio acquisition (Obsidian please) and a new Ninja Theory game would float my boat but I've been saying from day one that Rare need to step up their production as well (SoT is an okay game but they need to have other teams working on stuff whether it's new games or reboots of old franchises). Overall, I hope there are a few good surprises here. Sunset Overdrive 2 would also be great!

This tells me the show will be a joke.

To each their own but announcing a new studio acquisition, a new game by a recent acquisition, some DLC for popular games and a possible sequel to a cult hit would be pretty damn good to me. Disappointed that Fable 4 is apparently not going to be there (considering Phil specifically mentioned info on Playground's next game was coming up "after E3"...many folks thought he meant later in the show or later at E3) ...and this seems like a good time to officially announce. They do need to save a few things for E3 as well so wouldn't surprise me that it's not on the slate.
