Jimi Hendrix : Voodoo Chile
Jimmy Page :since I've been loving you
Stevie Ray Vaughan :Texas Flood

I don't have 5.

Mark Knopfler: can't really pick one song. Telegraph Road, maybe.

For my list, get rid of Vaughn and Gilmore and put in.....

Eddie Van Halen: Obviously..... Eruption
Chuck Berry: Johnny B Good

No idea on songs and no particular order but...

Joe Walsh
Mark Knopfler
Stevie Ray Vaughan
Joe Satriani
???

Don't know much of his music but honorable mention due to an awesome name for Muddy Waters.

Dave Mustaine (and Marty Friedman)

Honorable mention: Cliff Burton, Anesthesia Pulling Teeth

Pretty much this.

Also want to add Mark Knopfler in Sultans of Swing....that bridge solo is all kinds of epic.
Brian May: We will Rock you
Also some of Dave Gilmours solos on Echoes
...Jeff Beck has some goooooodd stuff too! To many good solos!!
Slash: Patience (don't particularly like his playing but thought the simple solos in that song were very tasteful and full of emotion)
Though I will say my personal biggest influences (at least in regards to my own guitar work) are Gilmore & Page. Love those guys!

For some reason, I can't think of all the guys I actually do like, but Brandon Small is probably one of the best to emerge as a truly fine musician. The guy is the mastermind behind almost everything Dethklok and showed that he's capable of more with his Galaktikon album. Much respect for him.

Too friggin hard and it always comes down to personal taste so in reality there can never be "greatest" just greats .

Slash... my favorite solo would have to be from Novemeber Rain or The Garden but imo his best work was a cover of Hey Joe
