Which one are you going with and why?

I was thinking of going with Pinball Arcade since it looks more traditional.

Im going with Zen Pinball because my PS3 tables will work on the PS4. Win!

Ive only played the Star Wars tables as well, its why I chose this version of Pinball Arcade.

That's awesome, thats the way to support your customer.

I have Zen Pinball 2 for the 360, all the Marvel tables and a few of the other dlc tables too. Zen Pinball is awesome, great table design, ball/table play and awesome graphics. Going from my experience I'd get Zen, never played Pinball Arcade

Yea I had Zen on 360, but I think I got a free table on the PS3 through PS+ so it's better than nothing. Although it may have been the Marvel table... Was Zen Pinball 2 free on PS3 like it was for 360? Seems to me the game itself was free, you just paid for the tables.

Edit: According to this Zen was delayed in the US until next week.

That delay makes sense. Launching two pinball games in one day can't be good for business.

I never heard of The Pinball Arcade. Just watched a couple videos. If the somehow got The Addams Family pinball machine I would buy a PS4 for that alone. I thought Zen was cool. Arcade looks classic and would be the one I get.

You like The Addams Family pinball machine? I knew you had good taste Plainview! ;)

Mortal enemies, brought together by pinball. It warms my cockles, I tell ya.

Well played a little bit tonight and Pinball Arcade is a lot of fun and clearly a labor of love. Had a lot of fun with the Funhouse and Star Trek tables. Looking forward to T2.

Pinball Arcade a digitization of classic real life tables? That sounds awesome is so and done right. Like Plainview said, bring on the Addams Family!

I've played my share of real tables (haven't played Addams Family) was Black Knight in college. Awesome board with ramps, multi-ball, magnetic saves, it was a real groundbreaking table back in the early 80's.

I'm not a huge pinball fanatic or anything, but I prefer Pinball Arcade because they are real tables, some of which I remember seeing and playing as a kid at the arcade. Others are classics that I will likely never get a chance to play in real life. I think there are like 20 tables in season 1. A ton of variety, at least for a casual pinball player like me.

Zen Pinball isn't really my cup o' tea because it's too fantasy-based for my liking.

20 tables sounds great, I'd prefer real life tables myself. Like you I'm not a pinball nut or anything, however, there are a few tables in the real world that i really like, it was one of the things I enjoyed doing with my Dad. If Pinball arcade can be made with the quality of Zen Pinball it sounds like it could be an awesome game.

My favorite old tables so far are Big Shot and Black Hole. As far as modern go, I like Theater of Magic and Funhouse. Make sure you turn the room lighting (game options) to dark to make the lighting really pop.

Does anyone know the download size of Pinball Arcade? It doesn't say on their site and I'd rather not update to 1.52 yet just to check the file size. (I'm on a very small data cap and literally have to plan how data gets used each month.)

2.1 GB.

Played the demo with Mars Attacks, lights are great in HD and the table played true to its era. The pricing of individual tables seemed pricey compared to the tables from Pinball FX on 360 or maybe my memory is clouded by MS points.

I am having a BLAST with Black Hole. Never played it before and I may like it almost as much as Adams Family...
