You said it was terrible. Sort of difficult to take your opinion seriously when you played halo 4 in the manner you did. Even then I'm skeptical you even played the little you did considering some of things you are willing to spew about halo with no evidence just to prove a point. I've had to show that you were wrong just to get you to admit it. Its not that you were wrong, who cares no one is perfect, its that your character is one that sees no issue with making up information to add weight to your agenda.

IT WAS TERRIBLE! JUST ABOUT ALL VIDEO GAME STORIES ARE TERRIBLE!!!

Hell, Metal Gear Solid stories are terrible but at least they burst into flames in the most fascinating ways. Halo 4 didn't even do that.

Oh...I didn't know that.

Just put it this way, I'd rather have the small sampling of H5s beta than the entirety of H4's MP. They completely missed the mark on all aspects of design with what they were going for. H5 MP feels completely different, fleshed out and surprisingly fresh.

Ok, now its making sense. You want s*** that is completely ridiculous and absurd.

never into Halos but that Warzone mode looks alot of fun.
then again i'll be busy as hell playing Rise of TR and Fallout4 so no room for Halo5 ^^

No.

If things fail, I want them to be interesting.

Of course, I'd rather have things not fail, but to be boring and fail? Unforgivable.

I hope you're right. I really do. I just think it's possible you could be a slave to the moment.

PS4 Metacritic 2015 (none of these are on X1): Bloodborne 92, Bastion 89, OlliOlli2 85, Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster 84, Broken Age 84, Axiom Verge 84, Resogun: Defenders 85, Starwhal 81, Jamestown+ 83, Helldivers 81, MLB 15: The Show 80, Grim Fandango Remastered 80, Lost Orbit 80, Toukiden: Kiwami 76, Lost Orbit 78, Tropico 5 76, Metal Slug 3 77, Apotheon 77, Teslagrad 77, Hotline Miami 2 76, Minutes 76, Titan Souls 75, Super Stardust Ultra 74, Ultra SF4 72, Tower of Guns 70, Paperbound 69, The Order: 1886 65

PS4 2015 upcoming not on X1: Until Dawn, Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, Tearaway Unfolded, Dragon Quest Heroes, The Tomorrow Children, Uncharted Collection w/ UC4 Multiplayer beta, God of War III Remastered, Planetside 2, Persona 5, J-STARS Victory VS+, Tales Of Zestiria, and a ton of indie games.

Even more upcoming from Japan not on X1 in 2015: Godzilla, Disgaea 5, Deception IV: The Nightmare Princess, Nobunaga's Ambition: Sphere of Influence, Samurai Warriors 4-II, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3, Saint Seiya: Soldiers' Soul, Onechanbara Z2, Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment and Lost Song, Senran Kagura: Estival Versus, Nitroplus Blasterz, Earth Defense Force 4.1

PS4 has dozens of games not on X1 in 2015, many of which are highly rated on MC, or likely to be highly rated. The only things it's missing are big shooter/racing franchises like Halo/Gears/Titanfall/Forza.

More blatant Lies, FUD, trolling, and blind hatred. I will repeat the Facts in the face of this sickness.

The lists you copy and paste from your Word document are easier to read when laid out vertically as opposed to paragraphs.

You don't hope he's right, when the sales and review scores of halo 5 are released you will be hoping for the worst, no doubt about that. If it scores an 85, but the fans love it like crazy, you'll simply call it a B tier game lol.

Also, the beta was out for awhile. If you weren't busy trolling it you might have known there was plenty of time to put it through its paces. He wasn't a slave for the moment. A good example of a slave to the moment is watching an E3 gameplay demo from a ps3 game that was supposed to be out 5 years ago and being excited for it on ps4 with no release date, but yet trolling games that actually have release dates. That's a slave. At least we have actual hands on experience of what we are excited for.

No doubt he's hoping it does bad.

Good to see consolewarz get his list out. Kind of lucky he posted it at just the right time because Halo 5 will score among the top rated games on his list. Not only will it outscore all or most of the games listed, but will probably outsell at least half of those games combined. And that's at full pop $60 and not at indie prices of $8. lol

1 X1 game > 20+ PS4 games on his list

I hope he's right in regards to the quality of Halo 5. I'm skeptical but I really do hope he's right.

I'm pretty simple to understand. I don't like mindless, repetitive, bombastic, one note games. I don't like the funding of such games.

The moment MS becomes interested in funding larger creative projects, I'll be on board. As of right now though their 2015 linup looks like this...

Transformers: Age of Extinction
The Avengers 2
Jurassic World
Furious 7

I don't know how you can support that if you're anything other than 14 years old.

Possibly.

All the while, PS4's lineup for 2015 looks like:

- Media Mag, featuring Why Films Make Bad Games
- Clash of the Titans 2 Blu-Ray Remaster Edition
- Indiana Jones Collection Blu-Ray Remaster Edition***
- Rotisserie Baseball 2015 (20th Anniversary)
- How to install bathroom tiles
- Photoshop (for Beginners)
- Retromag: SNES and PS1 double feature
- Flash games on PC coming to PS4
- Movie Fan Mag: Unknown Foreign Movies You've Never Heard Of (and shouldn't care)
- Book Enthusiast: Buying Books at The Sony Store Gets You An Exclusive 3 Page Prologue
- Media Fan 2015: Forget about 2015. Let's focus on 2017
- Small Business Gaming: How to Raise Money and Release on Console and PC at the Same Time
- QA Testing Monthly: How to Prevent Mistakes When On Stage
- Movie Critic Monthty: Why The Biography of Ed Asner is Better Than Lord of The Rings
- Dental Daily: Why Getting a Med Student To Do Your Root Canal is Better Than A Dental Surgeon
- Annual Auto Activist: Why a Kia is Better than a Ferrari

*** Indiana Jones Collection does not include Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
*** Raiders of the Lost Ark, Temple of Doom, and The Last Crusade only contain half the movie

You dont hope it happens. Stop bulls***ting, man.

You still refuse to even entertain the thought that Halo 5 will sell gangbusters this holiday season-well above any title released on Sonys platform this year. Just admit to yourself that it will do very well and that you just dont like that fact. You'll feel much better about it, and when its over, you can go back to how great Sonys line up NEXT YEAR....is.

We've already played halo 5, how many times do I need to repeat that. No one is waiting for your opinion about a game you will never play or give a chance. No one cares if you are onboard, the point was to tear your arguments down to nothing, which has been done handily in this thread. In summary, you have no idea where the series is, or where it's going, but you are willing to converse as if you do, constantly exposing your ignorance over and over to the point I've lost count.

People can different types of games, creative interesting, story driven experiences and still enjoy fun multiplayer games. Chances are I would outthink you in halo, not outplay you. That's generally what I do, but you haven't even reached that level for me to even explain it in detail. Could I outthink you at 14? Probably, just not as well.

This has been your longest and most thought out post, and yet it only contained personal attacks towards another member of this planet we call earth. Why don't you use that time and energy to explain your arguments better rather than get frustrated and go after another person? The Union would benefit.

I think I'll lock this thread down for a while again. It's devolved into the usual fanboy bickering.

Who else is ready for a bunch of Scalebound v Horizon talk next year?

Also, is Tomb Raider trying to rip off Uncharted or Splinter Cell?

Last edited:
No but the talk is coming next year. That's for sure.

BTW, from the looks of it, Scalebound might not be coming next year either.

Heck even when sony gives us a release date its wrong usually. Horizon has no release date officially, its TBA, which means they aren't confident in 2016. 2017 at best. Sony needs games in 2016 and they aren't confident enough to give us a date.

Actually, I'd be interested in seeing all the release dates Sony announces, and then seeing how many of those slip. I'd like to see where those numbers stack against MS, Nintendo, EA, Ubi etc... I don't think you have those numbers, do you?

The Scalebound website may say 2016 but it looked significantly further behind the Horizon showing five weeks ago. Scalebound doesn't look anywhere close to being ready. Horizon looked very polished.

PS: Someone needs to step in and make a change with that Scalebound protagonist. I think only that character only appeals to the 10 - 12 year old boy demographic. Nasty.

Un ignored you just to see what kind of bs you would be spewing.
You didn't disappoint with the Sony trolling as usual.
Since you wanna down Sony for delays..... Quantum Break says HELLO also expect MORE delays from BOTH companies in 2016.
