How do we rectify this??? Free DQ Blizzards for everyone!Clearly the video game world is biased against Playstation. Only possible explanation.

The one thing that stands out with UC4 are the small animations that many might take for granted. Like when he reaches for a block to climb up or down...the way he moves his arm and hand. Or how he massages the wall as it gets close to it. Something not seen in TR. Gameplay I still give TR the edge. I find the gameplay more enjoyable in TR, along with the open world and your ability to go back. UC4 is substantially more linear in feel. I also give TR more "realistic" graphics, where I give UC4 the more "art/painted" graphics nod. But many of the tiny little animations in UC4 are just sick.
I just thought about how when Nathan is swinging on a rope, and when that rope rubs along the mountain side, the debris and smoke that shows from the rope hitting that object appears as he goes back and forth. It's those little details.
You know, I noticed her wall touches when she SQUEEZES between walls...which usually seems "canned", but I never noticed her wall touching outside of that. Not sure why I never picked up on that. I think her "wet" appearance in including the ponytail is a solid nod.No doubt.
She does touch walls in the new TR, though. She also does that thing where she tightens her ponytail after getting out of the water.
She also reaches for her knife when enemies are close enough. I thought they did a lot of stuff like that. Animation is great on both, but nothing beats the masterful job they did on Lara's ass The way it moves and deforms is mesmerizing..
Not to take away from Drake though. The analogue arm reaching is nice, and I like how he will slowly pull himself over if you don't just jump. I love contextual animation and there is enough variety in the melee movements that it makes an admittedly shallow system much more enjoyable.
I am just disappointed in this board for not informing me of this travesty of a review like they do everytime an Xbox game gets a low score.

You're a good poster and I get your point that people here aren't up in arms over this absurd review. But comparing the Washington Post to Giant Bomb or any major gaming site is silly.
Are you saying its more legitimate to be upset over a low GB review? Serious question.
I'm just saying that gamers don't take reviews in newspapers or men's magazines seriously.
Bad reviews from gaming sites are far more damaging. Imo
That giant bomb that marked down Quantum Break.... OK then. But comparing the Washington Post to Giant Bomb or any major gaming site is silly.

What's your favorite game?Wooow. I like the game, but it is far from the greatest ever made, lol. The hyperbole for the game is off the Charts...
Isn't the general consensuses that QB is a hit and miss though.People made a fuss over GB specifically.
There was three other reviews that weren't gaming noteworthy places like WP with the same score that nobody was fussed about and there were zero petitions all around, I'm not sure why anyone would try to equate them.
The only thing shocking here is that there are 8000 people dumb enough to co-sign that, including Troy Baker.
<<<<<Have you tried see this game 2 the left in my avatar?Finished it last night. Beast of a game. Naughty Dog is amazing.
This and The Witcher 3 are miles ahead of anything I have played.

It was a 4 out of 4 stars
I think the petition is linking to a joke review since "comic-riffs" is in the URL...
When looking at metacritic reviews, UC4 did indeed score consistently higher. And rightfully so in many aspects. UC is more consistent in animations, more consistent in graphics, more consistent in frame rate, and on paper it apparently runs at a higher resolution (since nobody really knows what Remedy means about their resolution).Isn't the general consensuses that QB is a hit and miss though.
Different consensus for UC4.

It was his opinion though(as dumb as it was)If you followed the conversation, you'd note that it wasn't so much the score he assigned the game but his actual critique being completely moronic. Like I said, there were 3 other reviews that dished out the same exact score that nobody talked about.
Anyways, back to UC4. Not sure why QB was brought into this thread to begin with.
It was his opinion though(as dumb as it was)
My point was its not like QB is flowing with great reviews and like I said its hit and miss unlike UC4 and if anything the overly positive QB reviews are suspect too and I don't see anybody pointing them out.
Oh I didn't bring up QB either but you know Xboys can't help themselves.
Yes can we bring the thread back 2 UC4 talk?
A look at the previous page shows that isn't the case.
Anyways, I'm not big on review scores myself, it's never influenced a single purchase of mine. If they meant absolutely anything at all, we would have to concede that clearly flower and Journey are better than Diablo 3, Dark Souls 3, Bloodborne, Witcher 3, Fallout 4, Uncharted Collection, Rachet and Clank, Destiny, Rocket League, BF4, Doom, Metro Redux etc etc... it's all a big f***ing joke if you ask me.
