Um question. So all we do is walk around listening to people, radios, television and telephones? Is there ever gonna be actual game play or is this the premise? Story and walk?I've been writing the numbers (and beeps) down in case I need em for something. Some of the scenes are pretty powerful, but maaan, the walking speed is so slow! I can't imagine I'd be just strolling around in that situation.
I'm guessing it all went down at 6:07...
Just walking and listening, far as I know... I lost my beep notes so I said screw itUm question. So all we do is walk around listening to people, radios, television and telephones? Is there ever gonna be actual game play or is this the premise? Story and walk?
Ugh. Well this is ghey. I'm gonna finish it up quick and delete. Not my cup of tea. Oh and how can this game have pop in on the Pro???Just walking and listening, far as I know... I lost my beep notes so I said screw it
I wasn't aware of a sale to be honest. So Week 1 of the PS Store's Holiday Deals comes to an end tomorrow. Anyone pick something up?
I have my eye on Overcooked and 100 ft Robot Golf, both marked down from $19.99 to $13.99. Haven't pulled the plug because of dat backlog and haven't heard anyone here talking up either game. Has anyone played either to give opinions?
Dang that is as cheap as I have seen Tomb Raider...do I rebuy just for 4K love? Hmmmm.
And I skipped PS3 so never played God of War III. For $10 I would be a fool not to now, right?
(I guess this means Week 1 sales have expired? Just as well that I skipped them)
Go for it. Rise of the Tomb Raider is one of the best games this gen. I wish i could play it in 4K right now.
Still looking for a decent sale on UC4. Have I missed some or has this game never been less than $40 US?
Goat Simulator is $2.99 right now and is great if you want to support an indie dev and play a game that will have you laughing hysterically. Definitely worth picking up if you have a few bucks in your wallet.
Bought Firewatch and am tempted by Deus Ex too. My backlog is nuts and I have no time for these games.
I was going to get it and then remembered i have Goat Simulator from Games With Gold months ago that i haven't played yet. The backlog is real.
Any fans of Metal Gear Rising, DMC, Bayonetta type games are going to definitely check out NieR: Automata... just played it for a bit and it's pretty f***ing awesome. I'm not sure the entire game is going to be like the demo, but what I played was ace. It's part action hacknslash type, shooting, topdown/3d, switches to 2d sometimes, flying mech combat... Bullethell a bit? Nutty game.
Recommended.
Very Hard Difficulty setting: "You can't use lock-on, and you will die in one hit."
Demo coming to North America PS store around 8AM EST.
Jesus. Remember watching clips during the 360 and Ps3 generation about games looking like movies? I specifically remember reading an article about going to the movies, coming home and continuing the story in a video game with visuals like within the movie. Looking at this gif, we're there. Damn this looks good!
Scalebound should be amazing too.Funny, when I saw that first one; I was like, "damn, these cutscenes are stylish as f***". Then it repeated a few times and I slowly realized there were lifebars on the enemies. lol
Controls are butter smooth as you'd expect from a Platinum Games title.
I played the previous game, Tales of Zestiria, and it was actually really boring. And with lots of camera issues. And an empty open world. And the combat system was kind of rushed. And 30fps only. And the cool main female character gets axed and replaced, using one of the most wtf explanations. I'm not trying to dog it, but it really did not meet the expectations you'd want out of a $50 game. I really tried to like it. I put in about 40 hours before I had to admit it to myself this is terrible. That's just my opinion tho.Never played a Tales game but looking at Tales of Berseria.
