He's so interested in pleasing his base of deplorables that he has virtually nothing beyond insults and blame for the rest of us.
This is where a President's advisors come in and steer him/her in the right direction. They keep important people, groups, organizations, institutions, events, critical information and dates in front of you. They keep you from slipping up and forgetting to mention crucial points when your speaking so that you can better engage the crowd you've spoken to afterwards.
A good team of advisors keep you informed and from looking an idiot Mr President!!

When the president travels, there is a full entourage of personnel and equipment that goes with him.
It's pretty crazy actually. Of course though that is for international travel. Doubt that it's too different for national travel. Still have to transport the limos, secret service vehicles etc. then usually hire local police escort. All the staff that accompanies the president needs places to sleep. Etc. adds up really fast.
The thing that pisses me off is that tax payer money is paying this jack ass for his staff to stay at his hotel, all that should be f***ing comped.

All of them need to be protected too, but they're saying "travel costs" for the first family have cost $11 million. And these boys are on Trump business, promoting the hotels.
