The slim is very sleek looking and it's amazing how much smaller it is than the Xbox OneI have a PS Pro, but damn I wish I had a slim too!!! You always want what others have. Oh well
I'm sure you'll find games to enjoy, Hazard. My list of recommendations is above, if you need a place to start looking. The top half of the list are personal favorites, with the rest of the list filled out by other popular choices. There are other games that could be mentioned, but that is a good place to start your searches.
As a 3 week in PS4 owner I'm finally playing The Last of Us and it's living up to every hype comment I've ever seen, what an absolute masterclass.....I don't want it to end!!!!!
Glad you're enjoying it. It took me a while to get into, but once I did, I really saw what a good game it was. One of my favorites.
multi console owner here too: PS2 (fat), PS3 (slim), PS4 (pro), XBox (old 4 porter), Xbox 360 (current super slim model), Xbox One (s model)
Same here, I gave up on it on the PS3 and thought it was boring. Gave it a shot again on the PS4 and once I got into it more I loved it, ended up playing through it several times.
Had a question. Does the PS4 work the same way XBox One does as in if you don't have a internet connection you have to set it to a offline mode or it will ask you for updates anytime you try to play a new game? Or do games work straight out the box? Asking for a friend.
With most games, you can just load them and start up. You don't need to set it into an offline mode. It won't ask you for updates if you're playing offline.
There are some exceptions. With Persona 5 and a couple of other games, I've had to tell the game I'm offline, each time I start playing. But that's the minority; most games, it's just load and play. I do most of my gaming unplugged from the internet, so I'm speaking from experience.
It's just the way I've got my house set up. My PC, modem, and router are in one room, and my TV is in another. I used to have them grouped together, but I like it better this way, at least for now.
2010, & onward really killed my support of Xbox...
PS4 is all I wanted... Sony greatly improved, and has the high-end software support

Thanks... You know, it's weird. I thought people were hating on me for my feelings about plastic toys. I was the one who felt insulted. I know I wasn't always kind, but just wanted to give my thoughts in how gaming is headed.
People did hate me for saying things that ended up being dead on right lol
You're on the thinnest of strings. Don't mess it up. All of the mods were alerted when I saw you registered and they all know there's no leeway.
Trolling was never intended... My only intent was to get my point accross, yet most of the time it was ingnored, and I was insulted for.
I just love to talk gaming, and give the reasons why I think the way I do.
Sorry if you think I was the problem... I know I wasn't perfect, but to just troll would be silly. I like to use logic without insults, unless I get insulted over plastic toys
I guess, I did want to 1-up certain people, & I know I was very annoying in doing so

Looks like this thread has turned into an AA meeting for console warriors. Don't feel bad Mike, we got plenty on the other side that have never received a slap on the wrist, let alone a ban so you'll be welcomed back with open arms. Just keep it clean, no insults and you're good.
Anyway, already posted in the other thread and while it doesn't make me a new PS4 owner since i traded up, ya boi TD now has a PS4 Pro. What do you guys know about that? Just excited man, and hungry. Looking at the thing makes me want a triple cheeseburger.

If that were true, thats even worse that you came back after all this time. Sometimes old wounds don't heal and you need that redemption I guess.
