Either Kotor or even a new Fallout by them would be great. Obviously Kotor is due up first though.

What if Kotor 3 (or reboot) became a one year console exclusive, maybe with PlayAnywhere. If Sony could get a new spidey why not Xbox with a game that has a history of exclusivity with the OG Xbox

I'm primarily a PC gamer so I would hope for it to be PlayAnywhere. But otherwise yes games like Kotor should be what MS locks up in exclusives. Bring back some of those OG Xbox games as exclusives.

Obsidians been quiet this year.
With that, I'm going to assume kotor 3 is happening and run wild with other nonsense speculation, because what else can I do anymore with this stupid industry

Hey guys shenmue 3 wasn't a massive con.
Developers really want to create new experiences and not regurgitate the same bulls*** they did 6 months ago
Games are made from a creative vision, not because shareholders wanted record profits from microtransactions

Everything's fine. Gaming has only gotten better.

I wouldn't say they've been quiet, since I think they just released Pillars of Eternity II. I don't know what maintenance/DLC plans they have, but I don't imagine they've had much time to work on anything else so far, though they may find time going forward. I don't think they'd be able to do a KOTOR 3 simply because of the licensing, though. Bioware could, if they stay in the auspices of EA, but I think they've subsumed everything related to KOTOR inside SW:TOR (which I enjoyed for the month or two I tried it out, and honestly should at some point try to get around to playing the other class stories).

Doesn't Bioware have a Star Wars game in dev that hasn't been announced yet? Could have sworn I read that somewhere last year.

Ubisoft official E3 line-up:
  • Tom Clancy’s The Division 2
  • Beyond Good & Evil 2
  • For Honor
  • Skull & Bones
  • Starlink: Battle for Atlas
  • Transference
Plus they tease "some surprises."

Hypocrite that I am, I don't want anything to do with starlink.

It is a new kind of experience but when the blacklist studio came out with that, I was crushed. I'm still not 100% convinced splinter cell will return with a full installment so my ire for starlink isn't gone yet.

Also is there any definitive proof that bethesdas "Starfield" exists? Everyone seems to think so but like...what if we're all way off?

I don't believe so. There have been numerous hints, but nothing definitive. A lot of this is based on assumptions and hope.

If we're wrong, we're wrong. Wouldn't be the first time. It's nice to think that Bethesda might be cooking up a space RPG, though.

Out of those, I am interested in...

Anthem
Battlefield V
Beyond Good & Evil 2
Death Stranding
The Division 2
For Honour --Will be interesting to see what they say here, For Honour 2 this year maybe?
Ghost of Tsushima
Last of Us 2
Rage 2
Spiderman

I didn't realize Remedy's new game was confirmed to be there. That will be interesting, too.

It’s all about Metroid, Smash Bros., and hopefully the rumored Star Fox from Retro Studios.

Haven't even played the last Star Fox yet damn. Still have my Wii U hooked up so I should get to that sometime soon.

I may be in the minority on this but I'm much more interested in the next Dragon Age than I am Anthem.

Me, too. I'd be interested in hearing about the next Mass Effect, too, but that's going to be a while.

After Andromeda that series is dead to me lol, I really enjoyed DA:I though. I do hope with the next one they open the world up more, make mage combat a little more varied than the same two or three animations playing over and over again and for the love of god they need to make mounts fun to ride if they include them again. They were so pointless in inquisition, they didn't move any faster than the characters did on foot and they were so stiff it felt more like a chore. That's something both the ES and DA series need to figure out, making mounts feel fun and rewarding vs putting them in just to say they have them.

I'm with you on that, especially given Inquisition's cliffhanger. But with the bar being raised on open world games and Bioware's recent track record, they need a hit. Anthem seems like the kind of GaaS that will generate continuous revenue while having slightly better narrative than their contemporaries.

We'll see, their bread and butter has been story telling, their games have never had the best gameplay experience so moving away from story focused gaming seems like a big risk.

Game Informer gets a tarot reading for E3:

"Do you do any seances?" (Brings out his Vita) lol

Kinda freaky. I like the card-nerd's reaction whenever game-nerd makes it specific. It's like, "Dude, ain't no 'Halo' card!"

It does kinda make me wanna see how close it is. Definitely has a kind of resonance, lol.

I played the first Dragon Age but never beat it. Think I just got burned out on it. Because of that I doubt I'd play the second since it is a sequel, but it looks like Inquisition is a stand alone so might be worth playing sometime.

It was the first one I played and I enjoyed it, the other two are X1 BC but they aren't enhanced for the X yet so I'm holding off. Been playing a lot of ES Online though, having fun with that. It has a simplistic but pretty impressive graphical style, almost looks like the ES, Dragon Age and the witcher all got Fable pregnant at the same time lol.
