Hardly a comparison at all. DC vs F5 would have been on better terms, or even a multiplat.
IMO, multiplats are the only instance where consoles can be compared. Otherwise, it is 1st party devs against 1st party dev, not console vs. console.

Launch games won't show us anything. There will be parity early as developers work to get their heads around the new machines. If there are differences we won't see them until the second wave of games or in first party showings that aren't rushed for a launch window.

Those were the only games Sony and MS would allow so you'd have to take that up with them.
Would love to see a multiplatform game running on each console. Hell I would love to see ANY of the multiplatform games running on XBO period. =\
Yeah I feel ya there, not seeing ANY multiplats on X1 is weird. I can see MS picking F5 to show off..it's pretty impressive..but Sony picking Knack? that's just silly imo, KZ:SF would have been a better pick if they wanted to try and show off any potential
But does Japan really give a crap about KZ or shooters in general? Knack at least is a throwback to platformers like Crash (or, heck, a reskinned Crash almost) and that might be a little more popular for that audience.
I guess, but do they really give a crap about racers either?
We'll find out who was spreading b.s. and who was honest?
Hmm didn't know that thanksProbably at least a little more than shooters. Did a quick search and saw headlines that GT5 helped double PS3 sales in Japan, and then did some searching on one of those sites that lists games sales and breaks down by region. Don't know how accurate the numbers are, but they have GT5 selling 800k in Japan, while Killzone 3 is under 100k.
