Are they going to release more Formula One cars/tracks? Turn 10 should have made a stand alone F1 game, it would kill Codemaster's yearly F1 garbage.

Thanks for the link. Got 3 million in credits but It won't let me redeem them. Just keeps loading but won't go through. Just some loading circle keeps spinning. I'm glad I've got these credis because I bought the La Ferrari pack the other day not realising I still had to pay for the cars with ingame credits.
Get anything yet? Same thing keeps happening to me. I keep waffling on whether or not to even get the credits, but I think I will, when I can.

Yeah, It kept showing the loading circle for ages. I signed out then manually signed back into forzamotorsport.net instead of clicking the link and it worked. Got to say it was nice going on a spending spree. Bought a load of classics and some lovely high end. The Ferrari la Ferrari is a beautiful beast.

A couple of my friends have just got Forza5. We don't seem to be able to join each other in the mp. We keep sending invites through the game and were in the same party but no one is receiving any invites. Are we missing something obvious or is the mp just messed up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think they have to complete the initial round of races, the "tutorial" series so to speak, before everything opens up.

Drivatars are really doing my head in. Most of them are reckless and drive like its a game of bumper cars.

We've had issues too. Get them to leave the party, then invite them from the game. That worked for us, but it's stupid, so hopefully they fix it soon.

Maybe you have met my drivatar :-D
Btw how many points does your drivatar earn for you ? I gets about 10.000 each day

Yeah I have one friend's drivitar which will purposely swerve into people to knock them out. It will brake in the middle of a long straight just to hit someone.

What sucks is the only way to get from the back of the pack on a short 2 lap race is to bang fenders, so I think this is the behavior that it learns. If you aren't super aggressive, you'll never get close to a podium finish. I wonder how mine drives.

I honestly haven't really paid attention to what I get from my Drivatar, I'll make a point to have a look next time I play Forza.

REALLY contemplating this game, I've never been a MASSIVE fan of ultra realistic sim games but I have heard nothing but amazing things about this game. How easy is this game to pick up?

It should be pretty easy to pick up. I'm out of practice but I just picked it up last night and I'm playing with most of the assists off and failing quite routinely and spectacularly, but I turned the ABS and traction back on for one race and it was significantly easier. They do a really good job of scaling the challenge to the level you want to set for yourself.

All assists on = arcade racer
All assists off = pure simulation

You can disable/enable any of the assists, hell, you can make it where you never have to press the brake, it'll do it for you, you just steer.

Does anyone else have a tough time racing with any other cards other than the actual racing class cars? I'm talking Class R, P and X. I feel like the other classes are just too slow and the cars arent tuned as actual "race" cars, so it makes for a slow experience. I find that when I race the X class for example, I can have the truest racing experience possible, much like a Formula One race would be like.

Maybe I am missing your question. A 2012 Honda Civic street car should feel and drive just like a 2012 Honda Civic street car. Their goal is to simulate the true to life performance. So when you drive a 2012 Honda Civic around the brickyard, it better feel like a rider lawn mower compared to an F1.

I enjoy all the classes of racing actually. I prefer the middle classes actually.

I get it that their goal is to simulate, I'm not saying it doesn't simulate the real thing, it definitely does. What I'm saying is that I find it boring to race cars that are not actual "race" cars. The R, P and X classes seem to be the most fun, for me...was just wondering if anyone else felt that way.

I hope they put more current Formula One cars in this game because racing the indy cars don't feel the same, but there's still fun nonetheless.

I haven't played Forza 5. But it's my understanding that they are going all out with micro-transactions. I suspect that getting some new F1 cars will cost and arm and a leg :(

GOD DAAAAAAAAHM if there is only one thing you do in this game make it a race using track toys (thats the events name). SO f***ing fun, i was drifting around corners without losing speed, incredible sense of speed. best c***-pit view experience i ever had on a racing game.

These things you "hear" are false. The season pass actually costs exactly the same as FM4.

Yes, the car and track count is way down, but they don't seem to be doing anymore DLC than FM4. Fm4 had monthly car packs and this is about the same. They also include autovista mode for every car and have re-done every track, including updates. This isn't the simple copy/paste from the last game.
