My question is will there be a limited edition version of Forza 5 to purchase online and download vs having to purchase then one with the physical media?
according to TURN 10.. "hundreds of cars" no exact number was given.. I reckon 300-350.How many cars will be in the game?
Forza Motorsport creative director Dan Greenawalt has claimed that talking about console power is pointless unless you're "super informed".
With the next-generation of consoles right around the corner, a lot of talk has been focused around the added power that developers will get to play with.
However Greenawalt believes discussions on the internet about power don't mean much unless you really know what you're talking about.
"I think it's interesting when people talk about power this and power that, because to have a really honest discussion there you have to be super informed," he told ArabicGamers.
"Because it's kind of like the difference honestly between, 'Which is faster, a 500 horsepower Mustang or a 400 horsepower BMW M3?' It's not an easy question."
Greenawalt then went on to explain how the power of the Xbox One benefits Forza Motorsport 5.
"So when you're building the game and you make a bespoke engine that was built for the platform, and the platform is optimised for the type of work you're doing, it's very important where the power is and where the optimisations are.
"We were involved with the development of the Xbox One since the very beginning, so four years ago. And that allowed us to make sure that it was an operating system, it was a platform, it was hardware that was made for core games like Forza Motorsport.
"So we have 1080p resolution, we have 60 frames per second and more than that we have the Cloud. And the Cloud allows us to deliver things that I've wanted to deliver for ten years now."
Forza Motorsport 5 is an Xbox One launch game arriving later this year.
Lol Greenawalt was very clever about how he slipped in that comparison, if anyone knows anything about cars, its that the bmw m3 isn't a high powered car compared to a mustang, but its made very well and uses its power more effectively and is much more well rounded, perhaps an X1 reference.
I have owned all the Forza's so I'm getting this one for that fact alone. Played F2 the most but I also got a ton of play out of Horizon. My biggest concern with F5 is I read only 5 tracks...could this be correct? Please tell me that is just 5 licensed tracks as I can't imagine being stifled like that especially after the open world racing of Horizon. Is the 'Ring one of them? That would certainly help.
Still remember the previous MS launches and the joy of Project Gotham's on each, I had really really hoped that could have been in the mix for X1.
The tracks (which include the Prague circuit) are equally easy on the eye; buildings are built of a wider variety of materials, atmospheric effects such as fog and rain are more prevalent, the crowd headcount has swelled to 400,000, and the road surface has been laser-scanned for utmost fidelity. Be sure to plug in some speakers, too, as the audio's now generated moment-to-moment from a vast toybox of effects (including abstract touches like lion roars) in order to better reflect the mood.
Dose anyone know how many cars on track at once?? I think 16 would be a sweet spot (of course only on some tracks like Spa) but I was wondering what everyone thought about this?
http://www.examiner.com/article/for...ort-24-player-online-races-per-retail-listing24 really thats alot do you have link by any chance? Thats great news but I hope you can change that in the lobbies because its to much in my opinion.
1. Not happeningI am excited with the news of open wheel cars and spa being part of Forza 5. Yet, for a game that prides itself on so much realisms we still don't have any news or reveal about 1) dynamic weather 2) dynamic day/night cycles 3) realistic option for wear/damage that makes use of a more realistic pit stops.

I thought there was no weather effects in F5?
Well, at least I can look forward to option 4. Casual Mode - you hold A button and game plays itself1. Not happening
2. Not happening and you can guess the answer to 3.
