Of course, that’s just a taste of what 2015 holds in store for gamers. Our third party partners are readying some massive blockbusters, such as Batman: Arkham Knight, The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt, Mortal Kombat X, Battlefield Hardline, Dying Light and Evolve.

And our talented friends in the independent development community are stepping up to the plate too. Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number, Grim Fandango Remastered, Axiom Verge, Not a Hero, Soma, Broforce, Titan Souls, Super TIME Force Ultra, Gang Beasts, Broken Age, N++, Galak-Z, Hyper Light Drifter, Shovel Knight, OlliOlli 2… the list goes on and on.

I did not no that Until Dawn was an exclusive for Playstation. I am so glad I have a PS4! But The Witness is not an exclusive, is it? And I definitely know that The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is not exclusive; in fact, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter was exclusively available on PC before being ported to the PS4. The list is inaccurate.

console exclusive maybe. I don't know.
 
Good list. Sony is picking up steam.

Only a few games on there that I would consider big though. Even though they all look interesting in one way or another.
 
These look good to me:

  • Uncharted 4. Of course.
  • Until Dawn. Despite the cheesey horror style, I like the element of choice. I'm not sold yet, though.
  • Rime. I like the way this game looks and feels, I can't really say much more.
  • EGttR. I'm intrigued by what I know of the story, and it looks gorgeous. I'm a little worried it might be too heavy on narrative.
  • The Order. Interest level is around a 6 or so. I like the visuals and atmosphere. If they manage to tell a good story, I'll get it. The combat doesn't do much for me.
  • Vanishing of EC. Good to know this is coming to the PS4. It got mentioned as a GOTY candidate in our poll, and I'm curious to know more about it. Don't really know anything at this point.
  • Witness. I like the Myst-like feeling I get from it. I'm concerned that it might just be a cerebral puzzle solving exercise, though, which I wouldn't want to bother with.
  • No Man's Sky. This might be more of a time-sink than I'm prepared for, but I like the sense of adventure and exploration it inspires.
 
Ethan carter is exclusive. Hmmm. Ms must be slacking or the parity clause in action.
 
I think only uncharted is more or less confirmed. Rest is wait & see. Ethan carter I probably get on pc.
 
Games on that list that interest me:

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
No Man's Sky

But I think NMS is coming to X1 as well at "some point", so I will wait. Uncharted 4 I will be up at midnight and hoping to get day ZERO copy downloaded.
 
Batman & Witcher 3 top of my list. Not sure which platform of choice though. I need more information regarding Witcher 3.

If the visual fidelity isn't far off PC, & fps is smooth 30fps, then maybe I get it on PS4, otherwise, PC. I am expected to get a new beefy PC rig at beginning of the year. Supposed to upgrade last holidays, but I have to delay as I decide to put money on got my Iphone 6 & PS4 instead.

I am not poor, but I like to manage my spending wisely.
 
Some nice games in that list. No man's sky is my number one want.

Witness interested me as well, but I wasn't aware it was coming to Xbox too. That is good.

Has not be an officially announced, but Jo Blow has hinted many a times that it is coming. Even with a tweet that went a little like... When The Witness hits Xbox one, Gamers heads will explode.
I wouldn't expect a same day release though.

It might be 2016 and later on because of how PS worded it in their blog.

It looks like it could be as early as this year. Back in January of last year Blow was looking for help with developing the Xbox One version of Witness possibly according to his tweet.

I am also reading that it's just a PS4 exclusive for the "launch window". So probably short term.

Looking at all of these console exclusives must hurt PC fanboy feelings as I can't think of a single PC exclusive worth mentioning coming up.

What sucks about the PS4 list is that its most likely all we are getting...Sony isn't good at surprises.. MS on the other hand could show some new games and release them the same year.
 
It's going to be a banner year for the PS4. Can't wait for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, Bloodborne, and The Order:1886. I'll probably get most of the games on that list.

Seems like PC exclusives tend to be either RPGs, strategy games, maybe space sims, and a lot of indies. Most of which I don't even realize are out until a year or so later. Not saying they aren't good, just that we don't have much PC exclusive game discussion here.

Have to ask Blizzard about that one. Maybe with the new gen, they'll consider us worthy? I know they didn't think it would work on last-gen hardware.

Well, there isn't an excuse about keyboards anymore, as both consoles support keyboards. Though I am not sure about mice. But WOW is working on AGE OLD PC's right now, so I can't see why they won't work on the new consoles. I would play WOW if it came to console.
