Welcome to the NBA thread, we taking our talents to VGF.

The Heat signed Beasly again, SMH. Very good pick up for the Heat. It's not like he was smoking crack. Weed is not that big of a deal, IMO.

If everything pans out for the Heat this year, Oden plays and doesn't get hurt and Beasley keeps his head straight, it's more than weed Syl, he's lazy as all hell, the Heat may be unbeatable.

Uh, he's a solid player. The reason why he ended up on the bench is simply because he can't close games. Coming off the bench playing against the 2nd string he will do some damage. When you consider what that team already has it's just too much. Ray Allen, Beasly, Birdman all coming off the Bench. Lebron, Wade, Bosh in the starting lineup.

I don't put any faith in Oden at all.

The agent for Luol Deng said the Chicago Bulls forward will explore free agency in 2014 after the team tabled contract extension talks until after the season, according to a report. - Source

Not good at all. He's an underrated player.

With the legalization of pot, im hopeful Beasly might stay in the roster. Gota get Haslem to teach him the NBA drug policy, which he is very familiar with.

Beasley as your main scorer is asking for trouble with Beasley coming off the bench is perfect.

SMH, lol. How the hell is Lamar Odom on crack right now? Insane magic tricks he must be doing to get around the NBA drug testing for the last two years.

Oh, also. Not to be accused of hating. I've decided I'm going to call it now. LA Clippers going to the Finals. I want to see what the Bulls do and if Derrick Rose's health can hold up, but I really want to say the Bulls will win a ring. Not so much about the team make up as it is that Thibbs is just on another level as a coach.

L.A./Miami Finals would be awesome, but im not sure about the Clippers, they had some disappointing playoffs exits, CP3 is way overworked and BG is a mess if hes not dunking. I dont know how much longer they need to create a winning system, we'll see how Doc can change this team.

Clippers are pretenders.

SMH, at both of you lol. The team will be completely different with Doc Rivers. I think the Spurs and Grizz are done. It's really just up to OKC and LAC as far as who gets to the finals. I have to pick LAC because they have the superior coaching and equal talent to OKC. I think Houston will be a big disappointment.

The Heat got that 3 peat on lock down. All Beasley has to do is hit a couple shots a game while Lebron and Wade are resting.

Thank God TD is here. I think that was most fun I've had watching the Finals in a long time. Definitely going to have to root against Miami again.

The Champ is here!

I wasn't going to miss everyone's reaction when Rondo carries the Celtics this year by himself. Don't think i haven't forgotten that you all said he can't score and will never lead a team on his own. ;)

Rondo might not even finish the season with he Celtics. I am calling it now , he is going to get traded.

For more than a year, Miami Heat center Chris "Birdman" Andersen lived with a cloud over his head and a sullied reputation after authorities in Colorado raided his home as part of an investigation surrounding a relationship with an underaged girl from California.

It came to light Wednesday that not only was Andersen not guilty of a crime, but he was the victim of an "extremely complex" Internet scheme. Police in both Colorado and Canada believe it was the work of a woman living in rural Manitoba.

Andersen has been told that prosecutors will not file charges against him, clearing him after a 15-month ordeal that nearly cost him his NBA career. - Source

I always wondered how the Heat came to get Birdman for so cheap.

France ended Spain's reign as European basketball champion Friday with a 75-72 overtime semifinal victory behind 32 points from Tony Parker. - Source

Looks like he has bounced back from injury.

"I don't recruit. If anyone wants to play with me, I don't mind playing with, it could be anyone in the NBA, but as far as recruiting, I never did and never will," Rose told rappler.com, a social news network, in a video this week.

Rose passed on recruiting free-agent stars LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and others in the summer of 2010. However, he apparently made one exception to his rule last offseason, when he said he helped bring in Kirk Hinrich. - Source

What injury?

He was injured in the finals. Something about his shin. He was pretty much done by game 7.

"He's been looking great," Kevin Durant told Comcast SportsNet Chicago on Tuesday. "It was really good for him that he took the whole year off.

"A lot of people criticized him for it and really were upset about him not playing, but it was the best thing for him. I can tell because he looks better." - Source

It's in plain view that Rose should be given an apology by a particular Bulls fan on this forum.

Rose hasnt even came back yet, id wait till he at least puts on the uniform.

At this point, Durant is saying he is better than he was before. He might get injured again, but the point is that there was some benefit for him taking off the playoffs. They weren't going to win a ring that year anyway.

great, another year, another Wizards losing season.
the curse O'Les Boulez continues....
but I ll be in here talking them up for sure cuz I like pain and suffering.
I hate the Heat just as much as I hate the Yankees.

Ainge said something like he would be shocked if Rondo was ready for the opener, SMH. Now I see Humphries and I realize now that he's looking to tank the season.

Anyway, Danny Granger doesn't sound like he will ever be an all-star caliber player again. If possible they should have amnestied Granger. Overall, though Indiana looks like a better team. West lost 10 pounds, Stevenson gained Muscle, and Hibbert put on 10 pounds.

In response to who Jordan would like to play one on one in his prime.....
"I don't think I would lose," Jordan says in the video, before smiling and adding, "other than to Kobe Bryant, because he steals all of my moves."
