Affordable Care Act deadline

I guess today is the Real deadline to sign up for the Affordable Care Act coverage. There may be extensions for people in certain circumstances.


It'll be interesting to see how this all plays out. I was curious if anyone here has enrolled in this system and what you think of it. So far, I haven't enrolled yet. I'm hoping to start a job tomorrow that should have benefits and take care of my coverage and hopefully avoid the penalty.

two things

1. in order to get out of paying the fine for not having insurance, all one must do it let a bill go till you get a shut off notice. then keep said bill till tax time, pay it and poof, no fine.

2. it's not a deadline, there is a box you can check for the next two weeks after today that will still allow you to sign up if you say you tried before but couldn't log in.
