No ^. Harrison bounced around in his career. Andrew House has been with Playstation 27 years. He was there from the start. He's a Sony guy through and through.
I always liked him; thought he was a good bloke. I thought the negativity he got here was unfair, but I wasn't surprised, given the Xbox-ey nature of the site. You don't see that elsewhere.
Thanks, Andy! Great run. Good luck in whatever you do next.
The guy taking his place is John Kodera. He's been with them since 1992.
More to do with certain comments he made in interviews and conferences from what I can tell and that wasn't exclusive to this site.
I never saw it at other sites, only here. Granted, the only other sites I read are news sites and GAF. Never saw negative remarks about House at either of those sites. I'm sure other Xbox sites or twitter accounts groused about some comment that offended their delicate sensibilities. I don't read those sites, though. This place is all I can take, lol.
Although funny to see Andy complain about Xbox sites awhile mentioning SonyGaf.

What did he do?
I know this will come across as stereotyping, but he is Japanese right? I know PS gamers love their Japanese games, so maybe even more Japanese support coming the way of the PS.I'm curious what influence the new guy, Kodera, will have. I hear that he's been in charge of PSN. So, lots of outages, ha ha. We could see more of a focus on online.
He made some cracks about the competition. Xbox guys didn't like it. "Smacks of Arrogant Sony." "He's a douche bag."
House was an excellent businessman, there is no arguing with that. He would take a shot at the competition now and then. Meh. The only thing that bothered me was his voice. I liked his accent, but on a big stage, his voice could sound high-pitched and strained. I don't know if it was nerves or not projecting enough or what, but it could be a little grating. I never had a problem with the content of anything he said, though, and I found him to be a pretty straightforward guy.
Curious, is he the one who said something along the line "no crossplay...cos, for the children"
