Saw some stunks today. One came out of the trees in my backyard and eventually crawled underneath the air conditioner generator outside. Saw another crawl outside and then both went underneath. My biggest fear is a infestation. Gonna give animal control a ring and ask them about it. I really don't want to get farted on though, but I also want to go outside and take a look to see if there are anymore around. What do you guys think?

Not sure about your situation as I've never had a skunk nest issue, but I have had a scary run in with a skunk once. I was on vacation with my family at Lake George in upstate New York, sitting out on basically a "boardwalk" right off the water and all of a sudden some people a little ways down were yelling over to me telling me not to move. I looked down and this skunk was basically at my feet under the table I was sitting at. It looked a lot like a cat actually. I stayed as still as possible and thankfully he walked away, but it was a life-changing event.

we have them all the time at our farm... don't get within like 10 feet of them, they can spray.

We shoot all of ours that survive the coyotes. We trap them, then throw a blanket over the cage to stop them from spraying. If we release them, they just come right back and animal control just euthanizes them around here for the same reason.

The babies are cute and friendly, the parents though.. damn.. watchout for them LOL

Actually, if you take to a vet and have the vet remove the stink sac near their ass, Skunks can actually become quite friendly and docile. That's at least what I've heard

As for skunk infestation, well, if they go under the AC unit(s) and disappears and do not come out, you may want to indeed give animal control a ring.....The space underneath the AC units are a great nesting place. Cool in the summer and warm in the winter....Back years ago, one of my family friend discovered a rabbit nest underneath their units....Too bad the daddy and two brothers did not survive. My friend's dad just grabbed a shovel, pushed it in, and started to hit anything and everything moving that came running out! Afterwards, he discovered two more little one shivering inside (he turned them in to animal control).

My dog was sprayed by a skunk a couple years ago. Hes a good varmit dog. He attacks anything that gets into the fenced in area around my house. I gave him a bath in tomato juice after he got sprayed. It didn't work as well as I had been told. It took a couple weeks before the smell finally went away.

Tomato juice is the only thing that can knock the smell down, but, and this is a BIG but here, the myth is not true. It will not completely remove the smell, not unless you marinate in it for three days straight. The chemicals in the skunk juice, once it sprays on you, will stick on you so quickly that nothing can remove it except tomato juice, and even then, it takes a LLLLLLLLOOOOOOOONNNNNNNGGGGGG time before it can completely come off. So yeah, it helps, but unless you stay in a bathtub full of stuff for three days, with a change of tomatoes every 24 hours, it will not work.

Also, try tomato sauce. That may work better.

I never even thought about that. We ended up buying some poison recommended by a employee at a Menard's store. We saw them going a little crazy at first, but we haven't seen them since then. Especially since we had a big storm not too recently. I'm thinking about buying some rubble and covering up the holes I find.
