The campaign was great but it was on the short side, the MP doesn't really need anymore attention IMO and the series being built around it doesn't seem to be working for them financially. They could continue to do just as much for the MP as they have but put a lot more resources into the SP portion of the game, hell even a much bigger story where co-op could be included may help bring people in. Sadly a lot of people I know who play BF and COD have no interested in Titanfall because it's too "sci fi" for them.

A bigger focus on SP would only help the MP too, a longer bigger story would mean more areas to repurpose as MP maps.
 
so I am watching the Twitch and I just see an occasional still image?
 
Game is out now. There will be conditional respawns, but there will be no Titans in the game.

Gunplay looks weak as f***. No recoil on anything. Don't even need to ADS going by gameplay trailer.

The game is pretty fun, a breath of fresh air. Now to see how long this refreshness will last. But so far so good. Like a COD meets Overwatch and Destiny BR combo with different class abilities and supers.

As Respawn is eager to reiterate, this is a battle royale set within the Titanfall universe rather than a Titanfall 2 sequel. It takes place about 30 years after the events of Titanfall 2, in an area called the Outlands, featuring an eclectic bunch of characters who are all competing in "the Titanfall equivalent of a blood sport". Hunger Games, but more sci-fi.


"There are some people who think there are too many battle royale games or it's a fad, the world thinks we're making Titanfall 3 and we're not - this is what we're making.

McCoy's answer also confirms what many already suspected: Titanfall 3 isn't in development, and Apex Legends is its current Titanfall focus.

It was fine. I played one game and made it to 15 remaining. But I can’t see myself spending much more time in it.
 
I don't know if its worth Titanfall dying for but its pretty legit. Might be the best Battle Royale game yet.

Played a few matches. It’s definitely good. I like it better than blackout, that’s for sure.

That being said, it’s no Titanfall. Feels slower and the lack of wall running that helps with faster movement is definitely missed.

I wish Respawn success and hopefully we get TF3 next gen after the Star Wars game.

It looks pretty, had trouble in the training mode cos I couldn’t switch the controls to invert the camera....I thought it was a default set to all games in your profile like on the 360 :(
