I also heard that the expansion also introduces a pay to win kind of mechanism where you can tame dragons and bring them back to blow everyone away. lol

It's genius. You get people to buy in early to the game, and then you can either:
a) Finish the game, which is a lot of hard work and gets you no additional dollars, or
b) spend that time getting dlc put together, sell it and make even more money.
I am just shocked that the minds at Bethesda didn't patch in a dependency on the horse armor somewhere in the initial quest, plus breaking save games. What you call a game-breaking bug, we call an underleveled credit card.

But at the end of the day, aren't we all still in development? Are we ever complete?

Ark: Survival Ascended tops 600,000 sales two weeks after Steam debut
The title, billed as a reimagining of Ark: Survival Evolved, is currently in early access mode.
Ark: Survival Ascended sold over 600,000 copies on Steam in two weeks.
Publisher Snail, Inc. broke the news in a press release and said the milestone indicates Survival Ascended will become a "promising expansion of the Ark franchise."
The title launched in Steam Early Access on October 26, 2023, and leverages new Unreal Engine 5 tools such as Lumen, Nanite, and more to incorporate advanced mesh streaming, dynamic lighting, and robust physics systems.
Having issues with certification on both consoles thus delaying... going to be patches galore to get this game up to speed.
I just started playing this, I had to set the co sole command to do some things to able to play.
